Is the 2023 Audi Q7 a good car?

Generally — the 4/5 user rating points to a well-regarded used SUV. The 2023 Q7 stands out as a three-row luxury SUV that blends a clean, restrained design with a practical cabin and strong road manners. It also offers a polished interior, useful cargo space, and a technology suite that includes Audi Virtual Cockpit, making it a strong fit if you want understated luxury rather than a flashy cabin. The tradeoff is that the base engine can feel underpowered, so the Q7 makes the most sense if you value refinement, space, and a more premium driving experience. Is the 2023 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Q7’s reliability story is tied to its overall design: it’s a polished, practical luxury SUV with a cabin that’s built to feel upscale and useful. Its strengths are in comfort, technology, and everyday usability, while the base engine’s need to work hard can make the ownership experience feel less satisfying if you expect effortless performance. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a premium SUV with more complex equipment can be more expensive to keep in top shape.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Audi Q7?

You should still run a vehicle history report and confirm the specific car’s maintenance record before you buy. A pre-purchase inspection is worth prioritizing, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with more equipment to verify. Focus on overall condition, feature operation, and signs of wear in the cabin and electronics, since those details matter a lot in a luxury SUV.

What is the 2023 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $36,603 sits slightly below last year's $40,706.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped. If you keep the Q7 clean, well maintained, and properly documented, you’ll be in a better position when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 41.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.08% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 is a strong choice if you want a refined three-row luxury SUV with good market availability and a softer price than last year. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2023 gives you a compelling mix of value, inventory depth, and broad appeal.
