The Q5’s standard all-wheel drive, comfortable cabin, and quiet road manners fit well with its role as a small luxury SUV that’s meant to feel polished and easy to live with.

The main trade-off is sluggish initial acceleration, and the expert review also notes that the Q5’s age is starting to show in some areas. Even so, it remains a strong fit if you want a refined daily driver with a premium feel rather than a sporty crossover that prioritizes quick response.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific car you’re considering has a clean maintenance record. Focus on overall condition, because premium features and comfort are a big part of the Q5’s value proposition.

Key things to evaluate:

Which 2023 Audi Q5 trim should I buy?

It makes sense if you want the Q5 experience at the lowest price, but it leaves some desirable upgrades on the table.
