Used 2023 Audi Q5 for Sale nearBakersfield, CA

How much does the 2023 Audi Q5 cost?

Prices have softened 6.68% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,026 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Audi Q5 a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a 5/5 user-rated SUV with an expert score of 6.5/10. The model scores 7/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its luxurious feel, advanced technology, and smooth performance, and they also like the stylish design and comfortable interior. The main trade-off is the sluggish initial acceleration, which can make it feel slow off the line even though it settles into a more satisfying drive once underway.

That lines up with the overview: you get a sporty-but-comfortable small luxury SUV that feels refined and usable every day. With 41.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still gives you room to shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Audi Q5 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with praise for its smooth performance and luxurious, comfortable cabin. The expert evaluation also emphasizes sturdy build quality and a calm, quiet driving experience, which supports the impression that it’s a vehicle you can count on over time.

The cost-effectiveness notes also mention that the first scheduled maintenance visit is included, which helps early ownership costs. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about outright durability and more about whether you’re comfortable with premium running costs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Audi Q5?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially because premium SUVs can hide expensive wear items behind a polished presentation. Focus on how the cabin, electronics, and drivetrain feel in real use, and pay close attention to whether the vehicle’s condition matches its asking price.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Premium trim gives you the core Q5 experience, while Premium Plus adds more tech and safety equipment, and Prestige layers on the most upscale features. The base trim already includes leather seating, heated front seats, a 10-inch touchscreen, and standard driver aids, but the higher trims are where you get the more compelling convenience upgrades.
• Powertrain: You can choose from the 40 TFSI, 45 TFSI, or 55 TFSI plug-in hybrid. The 40 TFSI makes 201 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque, the 45 TFSI makes 261 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque, and the 55 TFSI PHEV makes 362 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque with an estimated 23 miles of electric-only range.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and front and rear parking sensors. Premium Plus adds lane-keep assist, a surround-view camera system, and traffic jam assist, while Prestige adds matrix-design LED headlights, a head-up display, a semi-automated parking system, and a traffic sign reader.
• Infotainment: All Q5s come with a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard across the range. The system can be monitored remotely through a smartphone app, and mid-range trims add a customizable digital instrument panel.
• Fuel efficiency: The 40 TFSI is rated at 23 mpg city, 29 mpg highway, and 25 mpg combined. The 45 TFSI is rated at 22 mpg city and 25 mpg combined, while the 55 TFSI plug-in hybrid is rated at 23 miles of electric range and 26 mpg combined once the battery is depleted.

Which 2023 Audi Q5 trim should I buy?

The 2023 Audi Q5 is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the entry point, but it still gives you a strong starting package with leather seating, heated front seats, a 10-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, and the standard safety suite. It makes sense if you want the Q5’s core luxury feel at the lowest price.
• Premium Plus: This is the best-value trim because it adds a good amount of tech and safety equipment without pushing the price all the way to the top. You get features like lane-keep assist, a surround-view camera system, traffic jam assist, and a customizable digital instrument panel.
• Prestige: This is the trim for you if you want the most upscale Q5 experience. It adds matrix-design LED headlights, a head-up display, a semi-automated parking system, and a traffic sign reader.

Rear-seat side impact airbags are offered as an option on all trims.

What is the 2023 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $29,864 sits slightly below last year's $32,000.

That price movement suggests the Q5 has already absorbed some of its near-term depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stays steady. A softer current price can also make the vehicle easier to position competitively later, especially if you keep mileage and condition in check.

Strong owner satisfaction helps too, because shoppers tend to respond well to models that already have a positive reputation. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Rear-seat side impact airbags are offered as an option on all trims.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 41.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.68% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 stands out for being a comfortable, quiet, tech-rich small luxury SUV with standard all-wheel drive, even if its initial acceleration is sluggish.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, broad inventory, and proven owner satisfaction, the 2023 is the one to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also use the softer market to shop aggressively and focus on the cleanest, best-equipped example rather than stretching for a newer year.
