The overview suggests the 2023 Audi A4 is a mature, well-sorted model with a strong balance of efficiency, technology, and everyday usability. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure you choose a well-maintained example, since premium sedans can become costly if prior care was inconsistent.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Audi A4?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any car you’re considering, even if the listing looks clean. Put inspection priority on the cabin electronics, infotainment functions, and signs of wear that could point to heavier use or deferred maintenance. Because the A4 is a premium sedan, condition matters a lot: a well-kept example is more likely to deliver the refined ownership experience you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Audi A4?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

What is the 2023 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $28,254 sits slightly below last year's $28,526.

That small decline suggests the market has stayed relatively stable rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For a future seller, that kind of pricing pattern can be helpful because it points to predictable demand instead of a volatile resale environment. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you’re more likely to preserve value than if you start with an overpriced example.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $22,933, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $28,254 average.
• It still feels fresh and modern despite being well into its life cycle.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of current-market stability, strong inventory, and a well-rounded feature set, the 2023 is the better primary target. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the smarter secondary path because it delivers much of the same core appeal at a lower price.
