• Inventory: There are 107 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.82% compared with last year.

What is the 2022 Toyota Avalon's resale value?

The current average of $28,257 sits slightly below last year's $28,781.

That softer pricing suggests the Avalon is holding value reasonably well, but not aggressively appreciating. If you buy at the right price, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation later because the market has already adjusted downward. A well-kept example with strong equipment and clean history should be easier to resell than one with accident history or visible wear.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Toyota Avalon or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 25.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 73.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.82% compared with last year.

Consider the 2021 if:
