Should I buy a 2022 Tesla Model S or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.29/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used Model S with strong owner satisfaction, stable pricing, and a healthy share of accident-free listings, the 2022 is the primary year to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2022’s balanced mix of value and market stability.
