Used 2022 Porsche Macan for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2022 Porsche Macan cost?

Prices have softened 7.38% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,489 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Porsche Macan a good car?

The 2022 Porsche Macan is a strong fit if you want a compact luxury SUV that prioritizes driving enjoyment over maximum utility, and it earns a user rating of 3.5/5 and an expert rating of 7.00/10.

The model scores 10/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

Its appeal comes from the way it drives more like a sports car than an SUV, along with stylish design and premium interior materials. The trade-offs are clear: the back seat is cramped, cargo space is limited, and the infotainment system is unimpressive.

For shoppers who value an athletic character and a premium feel more than everyday space, the Macan makes a compelling case. The market also shows 40.3% good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Porsche Macan reliable?

The 2022 Porsche Macan is presented as a well-engineered, performance-focused SUV, and the expert evaluation notes that its technologies performed as expected without accuracy, refinement, or sophistication problems.

The performance write-up also emphasizes Porsche’s precise steering and suspension tuning, plus a drivetrain that feels responsive and composed in normal driving and on twisty roads. In cost-effectiveness terms, the Macan is not the value play in its class, but it does deliver the kind of driving character Porsche buyers expect.

If you’re shopping used, the main long-term ownership risk is that you’re buying a premium performance SUV, so upkeep and repair costs can matter more than they would on a mainstream compact SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Porsche Macan?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean title and accident-free past matter a lot on a premium SUV like this. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the interior, infotainment operation, and any optional equipment, since the Macan’s appeal depends heavily on condition and specification. It’s also smart to confirm that the vehicle’s driver-assistance features and parking aids work as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes the Macan base model, the Macan S, and the Macan GTS. The base model gets the least power and equipment, while the higher trims add more performance and a more upscale feel.
• Powertrain: The base model uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 261 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The Macan S uses a twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 with 375 horsepower and 383 pound-feet, and the Macan GTS uses the same 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 architecture with 434 horsepower and 406 pound-feet. All versions use a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic and all-wheel drive.
• Safety package: Every 2022 Macan has adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and a reversing camera. Blind-spot monitoring is optional, as is lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot monitoring was included on the test vehicle through the Premium Package.
• Infotainment: Every model gets a 10.9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, navigation, connected services, and available WiFi hotspot access. A 10-speaker sound system is standard, with Bose and Burmester upgrades available.
• Fuel efficiency: The test Macan S returned 18.1 mpg in real-world driving, and Porsche cites 19 mpg officially for that setup.

Which 2022 Porsche Macan trim should I buy?

The 2022 Porsche Macan is offered in 3 trim levels: Macan base model, Macan S, and Macan GTS.

Here's the short version:

• Macan base model: This is the entry point if you want the Macan’s core driving character and the standard 261-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder. It makes the most sense if you care more about getting into the lineup than chasing maximum performance.
• Macan S: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it adds the twin-turbo V6 with 375 horsepower, plus a stronger performance focus without jumping all the way to the top trim. If you want the sweet spot between price and capability, this is the one to target.
• Macan GTS: Choose this if you want the most power and the most aggressive performance character in the lineup. It uses the 434-horsepower twin-turbo V6 and is the trim to consider if driving excitement matters most.

Every 2022 Macan includes the standard driver-assistance set, while blind-spot monitoring and lane-keeping assist remain optional.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Porsche Macan?

This is a favorable time to shop if you want a used Macan, because the market shows meaningful deal availability and prices have moved lower than they were a year ago.

• Deal availability: 40.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,489 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.38% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $45,295, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Porsche Macan's resale value?

The current average of $45,295 sits slightly below last year's $48,905.

That price movement suggests the Macan has softened enough to create a better entry point for used buyers than it had a year ago. If you buy well now, you may have less depreciation pressure than someone who paid closer to last year’s average.

For a future seller, the key takeaway is that the Macan’s value is still tied to its premium badge and performance appeal, but the market is currently rewarding buyers more than sellers. If prices stabilize, a well-kept example with desirable equipment should hold up better than a poorly optioned or heavily worn one.

Is the 2022 Porsche Macan safe?

The 2022 Porsche Macan does not have published crash-test ratings from either NHTSA or IIHS.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2022 Macan has adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and a reversing camera. Blind-spot monitoring is optional, as is lane-keeping assist, and the test vehicle had blind-spot monitoring through the Premium Package but not lane-keeping assist.

That means you get a solid standard safety suite, but you should not expect the Macan to be among the most advanced driver-assistance offerings in the class.

Should I buy a 2022 Porsche Macan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 40.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.38% compared with last year.
• It gets a fresh round of updates, including more power, revised styling details, and a new center console with haptic touch controls.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the right pick if you want the updated Macan with stronger performance and a fresher cabin feel, especially if you value the model’s sports-car-like driving character. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby year may still make sense, but the 2022’s updates and softer pricing make it a strong target in the used market.
