Used 2022 Porsche Macan for Sale near Colorado

How much does the 2022 Porsche Macan cost?

Prices have softened 7.50% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,427 listings available, which suggests you have a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Porsche Macan a good car?

The 2022 Porsche Macan is a strong fit if you want a compact SUV that prioritizes driving feel and upscale presentation over maximum practicality, and it earns a 3.5/5 user rating and a 7/10 expert rating.

The model scores 10/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

It stands out for its stylish design, premium interior materials, and sports-car-like road manners, which align well with buyers who value performance and polish. The trade-offs are clear, though: the back seat is cramped and the infotainment system is unimpressive, so it is less convincing if you need everyday space or the most polished tech experience.

With 34.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Porsche Macan reliable?

The 2022 Porsche Macan is presented as a well-engineered, performance-focused SUV with a premium feel, and its expert evaluation emphasizes that it behaves with precision and competence on the road.

Its performance tuning is described as quick, responsive, and stable, with a dual-clutch transmission that shifts cleanly and an all-wheel-drive system designed to send more power rearward in most situations. The expert review also notes that the Macan can be comfortable in normal driving, which supports the idea that it is not just a weekend toy.

Porsche includes a 10.9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM, navigation, connected services, and available WiFi hotspot access, and the cabin layout keeps many frequently used controls separate from the screen. That setup can make day-to-day use easier once you learn it.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the Macan’s premium performance hardware and upscale positioning can make repairs and upkeep more consequential than on a mainstream compact SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Porsche Macan?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the drivetrain, brakes, suspension, and electronics, since this model is built around performance hardware and premium features. Pay close attention to overall condition, especially if the vehicle has larger wheels or other equipment that may have seen harder use.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes the Macan base model, the Macan S, and the Macan GTS. The base model gets the smaller engine and less standard equipment, while the higher trims add more power and more upscale performance hardware. The Macan S is the best-value choice if you want the strongest balance of performance and equipment without going all the way to the top trim.
• Powertrain: The base model uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 261 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The Macan S uses a twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 with 375 hp and 383 lb-ft, while the Macan GTS uses the same 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 tuned to 434 hp and 406 lb-ft. All versions use a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
• Safety package: Every 2022 Macan has adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and a reversing camera. Blind-spot monitoring is optional, as is lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot monitoring was included in the test vehicle through the Premium Package.
• Infotainment: Every model gets a 10.9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, navigation, connected services, and available WiFi hotspot access. A 10-speaker sound system is standard, with Bose and Burmester upgrades available.
• Fuel efficiency: The test Macan S returned 18.1 mpg, and Porsche says that figure came close to the official EPA rating of 19 mpg.

Which 2022 Porsche Macan trim should I buy?

The 2022 Porsche Macan is offered in 3 trim levels: Macan base model, Macan S, and Macan GTS.

Here's the short version:

• Macan base model: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Macan experience with the smaller turbocharged four-cylinder engine and the standard equipment set. It makes sense if you want the Porsche badge and driving character at the lowest starting point, but it is the least powerful choice.
• Macan S: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the twin-turbo V6 and a stronger performance setup while staying below the top trim. If you want the Macan’s athletic personality without paying for maximum output, this is the one to focus on.
• Macan GTS: This is the performance-focused choice, with the most powerful engine in the lineup and the most aggressive tuning. It suits you if you want the quickest, most enthusiast-oriented version and are willing to pay for it.

Every 2022 Macan includes adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and a reversing camera, while blind-spot monitoring and lane-keeping assist remain optional.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Porsche Macan?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,427 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.50% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $45,812, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Porsche Macan's resale value?

The current average of $45,812 sits slightly below last year's $49,526.

That price movement suggests the Macan has softened enough to give used buyers a better entry point than a year ago. If you buy well now, you may have less downside risk than someone who paid closer to last year’s average.

For a future seller, the key takeaway is that the Macan’s value is still supported by its premium badge and performance appeal, but the market is currently pricing in some depreciation. That means condition, mileage, and trim choice will matter a lot when it is time to resell.

Is the 2022 Porsche Macan safe?

The 2022 Porsche Macan earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2022 Porsche Macan has adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and a reversing camera. Blind-spot monitoring is optional, as is lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot monitoring was included in the test vehicle through the Premium Package, but lane-keeping assist was not.

If you want more advanced driver assistance, this is not the strongest choice in the class. The available parking aids are useful, but the broader safety-tech suite is relatively limited compared with more advanced rivals.

Should I buy a 2022 Porsche Macan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.50% compared with last year.
• The 2022 model brings updates that keep the Macan fresh, including a styling refresh, larger standard wheels, a new center console, and more power and standard equipment.

The bottom line: The 2022 Macan is the right pick if you want the updated version of this performance-first compact SUV and you value its sharper styling and stronger equipment mix. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2022 is the cleaner choice if you want the refreshed setup and can find a well-priced example.
