Used 2022 Nissan Armada for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2022 Nissan Armada cost?

Prices have softened 6.99% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,143 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Nissan Armada a good car?

Yes — with a 5/5 user rating and a 7.7/10 expert rating, the 2022 Nissan Armada lands as a strong choice for shoppers who want a large, traditional SUV. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, Form and function, and Cost effectiveness.

Owners consistently praise its performance, luxury, and features, especially the sound system and safety options. They also value the spacious interior and towing capacity. On the trade-off side, the expert review points to poor fuel economy and a stereo that falls short of expectations.

That fits the Armada’s use case well: you’re getting a body-on-frame three-row SUV with a powerful V8 and lots of cabin space, so it makes the most sense if you prioritize strength, room, and conventional truck-based character over efficiency. Good and great deals account for 39.0% of listings, which suggests there are still attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2022 Nissan Armada reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable-feeling SUV that people are happy to live with over time, especially because it delivers the kind of performance and utility they expect from a full-size model. The expert review also reinforces that this is a robust, body-on-frame SUV with a proven V8 setup and a ride that feels composed for daily use.

Nissan also includes a broad set of standard safety and driver-assistance features, which can help reduce stress in regular ownership. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the Armada’s heavy fuel consumption and truck-based design can make ownership costs less friendly than smaller alternatives.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Nissan Armada?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because accident-free listings are common but not guaranteed. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the drivetrain, brakes, tires, and interior wear, especially if the SUV has been used for towing or family hauling. Focus on condition and maintenance records, since this is a large, heavy SUV that may have seen hard use.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base S trim has a four-speaker audio system, while the SV adds two speakers; buyers who want better sound should look higher up the range.
• Powertrain: Every Armada uses a naturally aspirated 5.6-liter V8 with 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque, paired with a seven-speed automatic and available 4WD.
• Safety package: Nissan Safety Shield 360 includes high beam assist, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear automatic braking, and rear cross-traffic alert.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wired Android Auto, wireless device charging on all but S models, and available rear-seat entertainment on Platinum.
• Fuel efficiency: RWD models are rated at 14 mpg city and 19 mpg highway, while 4WD versions are rated at 13 mpg city and 18 mpg highway.

Which 2022 Nissan Armada trim should I buy?

The 2022 Nissan Armada is offered in 4 trim levels: S, SV, SL, Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, but it comes with the most basic audio setup and skips some convenience features, so it makes sense mainly if you want the lowest starting price.
• SV: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it adds useful equipment without jumping all the way to the higher-priced trims.
• SL: This is the smarter pick if you plan to tow, since it adds the trailer brake controller and trailer sway control.
• Platinum: This is the most luxurious version, with the strongest premium equipment list and the available family entertainment setup for rear passengers.

For towing-focused buyers, the SL and Platinum are the trims to target because they include the key safety-related towing hardware.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Nissan Armada?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 39.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,143 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.99% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 83.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,025, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Nissan Armada's resale value?

The current average of $31,025 sits slightly below last year's $33,358.

That price movement suggests the Armada has softened enough to create a more favorable entry point for used buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to be realistic about expectations. If you buy at the current average or below, you may have less downside risk than someone who bought when prices were higher. The model’s strong owner satisfaction should help support demand over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Nissan Armada safe?

The 2022 Nissan Armada has not been rated by IIHS or NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite includes high beam assist, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear automatic braking, and rear cross-traffic alert. It also adds adaptive cruise control with full speed range, intelligent forward collision warning, intelligent lane intervention, and rear-door alert.

A trailer brake controller is standard on SV, SL, and Platinum models, while trailer sway control is standard on SL and Platinum. If you tow, those higher trims are the safer bet because they add the more useful towing-related safety hardware.

Should I buy a 2022 Nissan Armada or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 39.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.99% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 combines a powerful V8, roomy cabin, and truck-based construction in a way that suits buyers who want traditional full-size SUV capability.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $25,963, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $31,025 average.
• The 2021 adds freshened styling and upgraded technology.

The bottom line: You should choose the 2022 if you want the stronger current-market value picture and the same core Armada formula of space, strength, and V8 power. If your priority is simply spending less, the 2021 is the better budget path, especially if you’re comfortable giving up some of the 2022’s market positioning.
