Used 2021 Nissan Armada for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2021 Nissan Armada cost?

Prices have softened 9.51% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 870 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2021 Nissan Armada a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Nissan Armada earns a 4.7/5 user rating and a 7.2/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Technology and Safety.

Drivers consistently praise its smooth ride, spacious interior, and towing capabilities, and they also like the luxury feel and advanced features such as the big touchscreen and wireless Apple CarPlay. The Armada’s roomy, comfortable character fits you well if you want a large SUV with space and strength, while the refreshed appearance and upgraded technology help it feel more current. The main trade-offs are its poor fuel economy and some outdated appointments, and the expert review also points to poor handling. Even so, 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Nissan Armada reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience centered on comfort, space, and towing strength. The expert review reinforces that sense of durability by describing the Armada as a capable, traditional body-on-frame SUV with a proven V8 and truck-like hardware. You should still plan for higher running costs than more efficient rivals, so long-term ownership risk is more about fuel and upkeep burden than basic toughness.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Nissan Armada?

At 74.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with visible cosmetic wear. Focus on condition, maintenance records, and whether the truck’s comfort and tech features still work as intended. Because this is a large, heavy SUV, it’s worth paying close attention to how it drives, brakes, and handles in everyday use.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Armada is sold in S, SV, SL, and Platinum grades. The standard setup includes body-color over fenders, dark-painted roof rails, an acoustic windshield and front side windows, LED low-beam/high beam headlights with auto on/off, LED daytime running lights, and power-adjustable and folding side mirrors, while higher trims add features such as LED fog lights, a power sliding moonroof, and side mirrors with puddle lamps.
• Powertrain: Every Armada uses a 5.6-liter V8 with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, automatic four-wheel drive is available, and the SUV is described as capable off-road with skid plates, double-wishbone suspension, and substantial ground clearance.
• Safety package: Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard and includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear automatic braking. Standard adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, and rear door alert add to the package.
• Infotainment: The Armada gets a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation, Bluetooth, satellite radio, USB Type-A and Type-C ports, a WiFi hotspot, and NissanConnect Services. A wireless charging pad, 13-speaker Bose audio system, rearview camera mirror, and second-row entertainment system are available.
• Fuel efficiency: Rear-wheel-drive models are rated at 14 mpg city and 19 mpg highway, while four-wheel-drive models are rated at 13 mpg city and 18 mpg highway.

Which 2021 Nissan Armada trim should I buy?

The 2021 Nissan Armada is offered in 4 trim levels: S, SV, SL, and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, so it makes sense if you want the Armada’s core V8 power, standard safety tech, and refreshed styling without paying for extras you may not need.
• SV: This is the best-value trim if you want a stronger mix of equipment and everyday usability, especially since it opens the door to more available convenience and towing-related features.
• SL: This trim adds more comfort and convenience, and it’s also the one that can get the Midnight Edition Package, which gives the Armada a darker appearance treatment.
• Platinum: This is the most fully equipped version, with the most upscale cabin and the most standard tech and convenience features.

The safety package is standard across the lineup, but some advanced driver-assist technologies are not offered.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Nissan Armada?

The market looks moderate, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 870 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.51% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 74.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,734, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Nissan Armada's resale value?

The current average of $25,963 sits slightly below last year's $28,690.

That decline suggests the Armada has become more affordable for used buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a softer pricing environment than owners saw a year ago. If you buy now, you’re entering at a lower average price point, which can help cushion depreciation compared with a stronger market. The model’s broad appeal as a roomy, powerful three-row SUV should still support demand, especially for shoppers who value towing and space over efficiency.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Nissan Armada safe?

The Armada earns a three-star rollover rating from NHTSA.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard and includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear automatic braking. Standard adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, and rear door alert add more coverage, and you can add a rear camera mirror and surround-view camera system. One caveat is that the lane departure warning can be overly zealous, and the automatic high beams can be slow to activate.

Should I buy a 2021 Nissan Armada or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 74.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.51% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2021 brings a freshened appearance and upgraded technology while keeping the comfortable seats and strong V8.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $31,025, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $25,963 average.
• It keeps the traditional body-on-frame formula while leaning even more into the Armada’s old-school mechanical character.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2021 is the smarter buy because it combines a lower average price with refreshed tech and styling. If you’re willing to spend more for the next model year’s updated take on the same formula, the 2022 is the alternative to compare.
