Used 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS for Sale near Florida

How much does the 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS cost?

Prices have softened 13.03% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 829 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS earns a 4.8/5 user rating and a 7.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Technology.

Mercedes positions it as the electric equivalent of its flagship S-Class sedan, and the car backs that up with sleek aerodynamic styling, a luxurious cabin, and an elaborate infotainment setup. It also stands out as the first model to set the tone for Mercedes’ EQ-badged electric lineup, so you’re looking at a car with real importance in the brand’s EV strategy.

The main trade-offs are that the voice assistant is slow to respond and some buttons are poorly positioned. Even so, the EQS is aimed squarely at you if you want a high-end EV that emphasizes refinement, range, and capability over bargain pricing.

39.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The EQS is built around Mercedes’ electric flagship strategy, and its design and hardware point to a vehicle engineered for comfort and sophistication. Its performance tuning favors smoothness and stability, and the car’s strong range and generous battery coverage support confidence for long-term ownership.

The performance setup is described as quick in real-world driving, with instant electric torque and a chassis that balances comfort with impressive handling. Mercedes also includes a four-year, 50,000-mile new vehicle warranty and a 10-year, 155,000-mile battery warranty, which is a meaningful ownership advantage for a used EV.

Mercedes also says first owners and lessees get unlimited 30-minute DC fast-charging sessions at Electrify America stations for two years after activating a Mercedes Me account.

For used buyers, the biggest long-term risk is making sure the battery and charging history are healthy, since EV ownership depends heavily on how the car was charged and maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because even a strong accident-free share doesn’t replace a proper VIN-level review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on charging behavior, cabin electronics, and any signs of uneven wear or repair. For an EV like this, condition matters most in the battery, software, and high-use convenience features.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The EQS comes in Premium, Exclusive, and Pinnacle trim levels, and the base setup already gives you a long list of standard equipment. The biggest gaps show up at the lower trim, where you still have to pay extra for the Hyperscreen display, and Mercedes requires an upgrade to Exclusive for massaging seats, four-zone climate control, and a head-up display.
• Powertrain: The EQS 450+ uses a single rear motor with rear-wheel drive, while the EQS 580 uses two motors and all-wheel drive. The 450+ makes 329 horsepower and 419 pound-feet of torque, while the 580 makes 516 hp and 631 lb-ft, so you’re choosing between longer-range simplicity and stronger all-weather performance.
• Safety package: Standard driver assistance features include adaptive cruise control with steering assist, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist, a driver-attention monitor, parking assist, and a surround-view camera system. Mercedes’s Pre-Safe predictive occupant protection system is also included.
• Infotainment: The Hyperscreen combines a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 17.7-inch main touchscreen, and a 12.3-inch front-passenger touchscreen. If you skip it, the base EQS 450+ still gets a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 12.8-inch central touchscreen, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• Range & charging: The EQS 450+ is rated at 350 miles of range, while the EQS 580 is rated at 340 miles. Mercedes says the battery is 107.8 kWh, and the car can DC fast charge at up to 200 kW, reaching a 10% to 80% charge in about 30 minutes.
• Battery health: Ask for battery state-of-health information and review charging habits, especially whether the car was mostly charged at home or frequently fast charged. You also want to confirm how much battery warranty coverage remains, since that protection is a major part of the used-EV value equation.

Which 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS trim should I buy?

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS is offered in 6 trim levels: EQS 450+ Premium, EQS 450+ Exclusive, EQS 450+ Pinnacle, EQS 580 Premium, EQS 580 Exclusive, EQS 580 Pinnacle.

Here's the short version:

• EQS 450+ Premium: This is the entry point if you want the EQS experience with the longest range focus and the lowest starting price. It gives you the core luxury and tech foundation, but you’ll need to step up if you want the Hyperscreen or the more comfort-focused equipment.
• EQS 450+ Exclusive: This is the best-value trim if you want the EQS to feel properly loaded. It adds the features Mercedes reserves for the mid-level step, including massaging seats, four-zone climate control, and a head-up display.
• EQS 450+ Pinnacle: Choose this if rear-seat comfort matters most and you want the most convenience-oriented version of the single-motor model.
• EQS 580 Premium: This is the performance-oriented starting point, pairing dual-motor all-wheel drive with the stronger output of the 580 powertrain.
• EQS 580 Exclusive: This is the sweet spot for buyers who want the stronger powertrain and the key luxury upgrades without going all the way to the top trim.
• EQS 580 Pinnacle: Pick this if you want the most fully equipped EQS 580 and care most about rear-seat convenience and top-end luxury features.

Standard safety equipment includes adaptive cruise control with steering assist, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist, a driver-attention monitor, parking assist, and a surround-view camera system.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 39.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 829 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.03% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $39,914, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS's resale value?

The current average of $39,914 sits slightly below last year's $45,894.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you’re thinking about future resale. If you buy at the right price, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later.

The EQS still has appeal because it combines flagship luxury, strong range, and advanced technology in a way that should keep it desirable among shoppers looking for a premium EV. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS safe?

The EQS likely won’t be a priority for safety organizations because it’s an expensive, low-volume model.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver assistance features include adaptive cruise control with steering assist, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist, a driver-attention monitor, parking assist, and a surround-view camera system. Mercedes’s Pre-Safe predictive occupant protection system is designed to help minimize injuries if a crash is imminent.

Should I buy a 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 39.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.03% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 EQS is the launch model for Mercedes’ EQ-badged electric lineup, so you get the first-year version of the brand’s flagship EV statement.

The bottom line: If you want the EQS’s flagship-luxury feel, strong range, and advanced tech at a softened used price, the 2022 is the right place to start. If you’re more price-sensitive, focus on the best-equipped listings and look for the trims that include the comfort and tech features you care about most.
