Mercedes-Benz offers a lineup of lavish cars and SUVs—but it also has a racy side. AMG is the automaker’s motorsport and performance division. This sub-brand’s flagship vehicle is the AMG GT. The AMG GT was first introduced in 2018 in coupe and convertible forms. The four-door variant was introduced the following year, and for 2022, it’s the only body style that’s still on the menu. The coupe model is taking a hiatus and the convertible has been discontinued—Likely so as not to cannibalize sales of the redesigned SL convertible.
