Yes — the 2022 Lincoln Nautilus earns a 4.6/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, Cost effectiveness, Technology, and Safety.

User feedback repeatedly points to the stylish design, smooth ride, quiet cabin, and advanced technology as major strengths. On the downside, the expert notes call out an underwhelming base engine, a ride that can feel woozy in Comfort mode, and a cramped back seat.

With its focus on comfort and upscale presentation, it makes the most sense if you want a relaxed luxury daily driver rather than a sharp-handling SUV. The market also shows 36.1% good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Lincoln Nautilus reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback highlights the Nautilus as stylish, smooth, quiet, and comfortable, with many drivers appreciating the value of the features included. The expert notes also describe it as a comfortable road-trip companion with a quiet cabin and a relaxed, easygoing character. Lincoln’s cost-effectiveness commentary further positions it as a value-oriented choice among front-wheel-drive-based luxury SUVs.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the most appealing versions are also the most expensive, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Lincoln Nautilus?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any listing you like, because accident-free status is only one part of the picture. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin, electronics, and ride quality, since this model’s appeal depends heavily on comfort and technology. Focus especially on whether the vehicle feels as plush and well-kept as you expect from a luxury crossover.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Black Label trim adds the most luxury content, including 21-inch machined-finish wheels, unique interior design themes, simulated suede headliner, luxury floor mats, and nearly everything available on the Nautilus. The Reserve sits below it and is the middle step in the lineup, while the standard model is the most affordable entry point. If you want the best-value balance of equipment and price, the Reserve is the trim to study closely.
• Powertrain: The standard Nautilus and Reserve use a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, while the Black Label gets a twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 with 335 hp and 380 lb-ft. Front-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic are standard on the lower trims, and all-wheel drive is optional there but required on the Black Label.
• Safety package: Every 2022 Nautilus has Lincoln Co-Pilot360 1.0, which includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. Black Label adds Lincoln Co-Pilot360 1.0 Plus, which brings adaptive cruise control, lane-centering assistance, evasive steering assist, a surround-view camera system, parking sensors, and semi-autonomous parking assist.
• Infotainment: The Nautilus uses a 13.2-inch touchscreen with Sync 4, plus a 12.3-inch digital instrument display. It includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, over-the-air updates, Lincoln Connect, a Wi-Fi hotspot, SiriusXM 360L, wireless smartphone charging, and available connected navigation.
• Fuel efficiency: The twin-turbo V6 returns 21 mpg in combined driving and 25 mpg on the highway, with a maximum highway range of 450 miles.

Which 2022 Lincoln Nautilus trim should I buy?

The 2022 Lincoln Nautilus is offered in 3 trim levels: Nautilus, Reserve, Black Label.

Here's the short version:

• Nautilus: This is the entry point, and it gives you the standard turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, front-wheel drive, and the core Lincoln Co-Pilot360 1.0 safety suite. It’s the trim to choose if you want the lowest starting price and the basic luxury experience.
• Reserve: This is the best-value trim to focus on because it sits between the base model and the expensive Black Label while still offering the same standard powertrain and the option to add all-wheel drive. It should appeal to you if you want a more upscale balance without jumping all the way to the top.
• Black Label: This is the plushest version, with the twin-turbo 2.7-liter V6, standard all-wheel drive, Lincoln Co-Pilot360 1.0 Plus, and the most luxurious interior themes and materials. Choose it if you want the most content and the strongest engine.

The Black Label also gets the expanded safety package, while the lower trims stick with the standard Co-Pilot360 1.0 setup.

• Inventory: There are 1,698 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.99% compared with last year.

What is the 2022 Lincoln Nautilus's resale value?

The current average of $29,725 sits slightly below last year's $34,560.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger hit later. The model’s comfort-first appeal and premium image should still help it attract shoppers who want a quiet, well-equipped luxury crossover.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Lincoln Nautilus or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.99% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 adds Sync 4 with a 13.2-inch touchscreen, over-the-air updates, and wireless smartphone integration.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $25,523, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $29,725 average.
• It emphasizes elegant styling, a plush interior, and a hushed, boulevard-cruising ride.

The bottom line: If you want the newer tech package and a broader current-market selection, the 2022 is the better target. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2021 is the smarter value play, especially if you’re focused on comfort and luxury rather than the latest updates.
