Is the 2022 Lincoln Aviator a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 5/5, which points to strong overall satisfaction. Review feedback consistently highlights luxury, technology features, spaciousness, comfort, and a high-quality interior feel. Is the 2022 Lincoln Aviator reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Review feedback points to a dependable ownership experience centered on comfort, quality, and a well-liked cabin. The recurring praise for its luxury feel and family usefulness suggests you can count on it to deliver the kind of upscale daily driving experience many shoppers want. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the core appeal and more about making sure the specific vehicle has been maintained well and checked carefully before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Lincoln Aviator?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with the history report to confirm accident status, title status, and service patterns. Then prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin electronics, comfort features, and overall condition, since this model’s appeal depends heavily on how well its luxury equipment has held up. It also makes sense to focus on signs of wear in a family-used SUV, especially if the third row and interior surfaces have seen regular use.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Lincoln Aviator?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully rather than rush.

• Deal availability: 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,327 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.35% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 85.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $34,580, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Lincoln Aviator's resale value?

The current average of $34,587 sits slightly below last year's $41,346.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. If you plan to sell later, the softer current pricing may limit upside in the near term, but it can also make the vehicle easier to move if you buy well. Strong condition and a clean history matter even more when the market is already pricing in depreciation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Lincoln Aviator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.35% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $29,987, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $34,587 average.
• It offers a spacious cabin with a soft ride and strong power.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $41,953, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $34,587 average.
• It leans into quiet, comfort-focused luxury with a serene cabin.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around starting point if you want the strongest mix of satisfaction, market availability, and current pricing. If your priority is spending less, the 2021 is the better value path; if you want to pay more for a newer model-year alternative, the 2023 is the premium route.
