Why it stands out
The 2022 INFINITI Q50 distinguishes itself in the midsize premium sedan category with its blend of powerful engine options and an extensive array of standard features, making it a compelling choice for buyers seeking luxury and performance without breaking the bank. Compared to its rivals like the BMW 3 Series and the Acura TLX, the Q50 offers similarly competitive specifications and high-quality interiors. Notably, while its engine lineup is limited in options, the available twin-turbocharged V6 variants deliver robust performance. The Q50 also has a reputation for being well-equipped, with features like automatic LED headlights and dual-zone climate control available from entry-level trims. However, as the market evolves, the Q50 does face criticism for its below-average fuel economy and an aging design compared to newer competitors.
