Should I buy a 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 39.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.79% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $25,948, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $23,152 average.
• It emphasizes comfort, space, and efficiency with a more straightforward family focus.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2022 if you want the better value and more negotiating room. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2022 is the stronger starting point; if you’re willing to pay more for a newer model year, the 2023 is the alternative to compare.
