How much does the 2022 Honda Accord cost?

Prices have softened 4.45% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,093 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2022 Honda Accord a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Honda Accord earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, stylish design, and spacious interior, and many also like the feature-rich feel and comfortable long-distance manners. In practical terms, that lines up well if you want a roomy, refined family sedan with easy-to-use controls and everyday usability. With 35.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive price.

Is the 2022 Honda Accord reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also highlights dependable day-to-day comfort, with many drivers describing the car as smooth and easy to live with over time. Some owners do mention reliability concerns, so you should still pay close attention to maintenance records and mechanical condition before buying.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is avoiding a car with unresolved wear or prior issues that could offset the Accord’s otherwise strong reputation.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Honda Accord?

At 70.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on every candidate and prioritize listings with clean records and consistent service documentation. A pre-purchase inspection is worth it, especially if the car has higher mileage or incomplete maintenance history. Focus on overall condition, because accident history and deferred upkeep can matter more than trim level or options.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Honda Accord?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting deep bargain-bin pricing.

• Deal availability: 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,093 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.45% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 70.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,633, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $23,720 sits slightly below last year's $24,826.

That softer pricing can help you buy more confidently now, but it also suggests the market has already adjusted downward. If you plan to resell later, you should expect value retention to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history. Well-kept examples should hold up better than average, especially if they have clean records and strong owner appeal.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 70.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.45% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $21,398, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $23,720 average.
• It offers a refreshed, more elevated feature set.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $23,727, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $23,720 average.
• It brings a redesigned, more modern driving experience.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around pick if you want a well-rounded sedan with strong owner satisfaction and a healthier deal mix. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the smarter value play; if you want the newer redesign and can spend a bit more, the 2023 is the upgrade path.
