The Genesis GV80 is classified as a mid-size crossover, but it’s the largest luxury SUV in the Genesis lineup. The GV80 is in its first generation, launched in the 2020 calendar year as a 2021 model. It competes with other premium and luxury mid-sized SUVs like the Audi Q5, the BMW X5, and the Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class. The 2022 Genesis GV80 is a front-engined crossover that comes standard in rear-wheel drive (RWD) configuration, though all-wheel drive (AWD) is available on the base trim and standard on the higher ones.
