How much does the 2022 Genesis GV80 cost?

There are 712 listings available, which gives you a meaningful pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2022 Genesis GV80 a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Genesis GV80 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview describes it as a luxury midsize SUV with distinctive styling, a beautifully crafted cabin, and a premium feel throughout, plus a strong equipment list that includes a 14-inch touchscreen, heated and electrically adjustable front seats, and available upscale features like Nappa leather and a 21-speaker Lexicon sound system. If you want a luxury SUV that feels more bespoke than many mainstream rivals, this model year fits that brief well. Good and great deals account for 35.1% of listings, so you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Genesis GV80 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The overview also points to a well-finished cabin, substantial standard equipment, and a strong safety and convenience package, all of which support confidence in day-to-day ownership. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that some desirable features are reserved for higher trims or options, so condition and equipment verification matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Genesis GV80?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the vehicle closely for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or incomplete repairs. Pay extra attention to cabin condition, seat comfort, and whether the features you want are actually present, since several desirable items are trim-dependent. A careful test drive should also confirm that the SUV feels as refined as its premium presentation suggests.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Genesis GV80?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what you want.

• Deal availability: 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 712 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.03% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 85.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $33,776, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Genesis GV80's resale value?

The current average of $33,838 sits slightly below last year's $39,361.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit near-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the current pricing environment means your return will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped. Well-kept examples with desirable features should still draw attention, especially if they present as clean and premium.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Genesis GV80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.03% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $30,168, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $33,838 average.
• It introduced Genesis’s first SUV with a polished cabin and strong value.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $37,643, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $33,838 average.
• It adds standard all-wheel drive and a broader package structure.

The 2022 is the best all-around pick if you want a well-equipped luxury SUV at a softened price point. If your priority is spending less, the 2021 is the more budget-friendly path; if you want a newer-feeling setup and are willing to pay more, the 2023 is worth a look.

How does the 2022 Genesis GV80 compare to the 2022 BMW X5?

The Genesis gives you a lower average used price and a smaller but still substantial inventory pool, while the BMW offers slightly more power and a bit more market depth. If you want the better value proposition, the GV80 is compelling; if you want a broader shopping pool and a little more performance, the X5 has the edge.
