Used 2022 Genesis GV70 for Sale near Georgia

How much does the 2022 Genesis GV70 cost?

Prices have softened 10.99% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 817 listings available, which suggests you have a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Genesis GV70 a good car?

Generally — the 2022 Genesis GV70 earns a 4.1/5 user rating and an 8/10 expert rating, which points to broad appeal for used shoppers. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

Owners consistently praise its comfort, luxury, and value for money, and they also like the spacious interior and high-quality materials. The GV70’s bold styling and upscale presentation help it stand out in a crowded small luxury SUV field, especially if you want something that feels distinctive rather than familiar.

The trade-offs are real, though: the expert review calls out a noisy cabin and poor handling. Even so, the GV70’s strong feature set and premium feel make it a compelling choice if you value design and equipment over sharp driving dynamics.

With 38.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Genesis GV70 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.1/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction. The owner feedback also points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with praise for comfort, luxury, and value for money, plus a reputation for being a vehicle you can count on over time.

Genesis backs the GV70 with a 10-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty, a five-year, 60,000-mile basic warranty, and three years or 36,000 miles of complimentary scheduled maintenance. That combination helps reduce early ownership stress for used buyers.

For long-term ownership, the main risk is less about outright durability and more about whether the specific used example has been maintained well and equipped the way you want.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Genesis GV70?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on every candidate and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on cabin condition, tech functionality, and whether the vehicle’s equipment matches the trim level you expect. If you want the best ownership experience, make sure the features you care about are present before you commit.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Base models get leatherette rather than real leather seats, while Sport Prestige models add more distinctive styling and a more luxurious cabin presentation.
• Powertrain: The GV70 uses a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, and a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 with 375 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque; both pair with an eight-speed automatic and standard all-wheel drive.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes lane-keep assist, forward-collision warning, blind-spot and forward collision-avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic alert, a driver-attention monitor, Highway Driving Assist, and eight airbags; Highway Driving Assist 2 is optional.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses a 14.5-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and higher trims can add a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12-inch head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: The four-cylinder GV70 is rated at 24 mpg combined, 22 mpg city, and 28 mpg highway with 18-inch or 19-inch wheels; 21-inch wheels reduce that to 22 mpg combined, 19 mpg city, and 26 mpg highway. The V6 is rated at 21 mpg combined, 19 mpg city, and 25 mpg highway.

Which 2022 Genesis GV70 trim should I buy?

The 2022 Genesis GV70 is offered in 4 trim levels: Standard, Select, Advanced, and Sport Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Standard: This is the entry point, but it still brings standard all-wheel drive, the 14.5-inch touchscreen, and a strong set of driver aids, so it covers the basics well if you want value.
• Select: This trim sits above the base model and is part of the four-cylinder lineup, making it a sensible step up if you want more equipment without jumping to the top end.
• Advanced: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more of the upscale features that make the GV70 feel special without requiring the range-topping price.
• Sport Prestige: This is the most distinctive choice, with unique styling details, 21-inch wheels, dark-finished chrome trim, and a more luxurious cabin presentation.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, but the optional Highway Driving Assist 2 system adds lane-change functionality and navigation-based adaptive cruise control with auto-curve slowdown.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Genesis GV70?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 817 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.99% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $30,628, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Genesis GV70's resale value?

The current average of $30,628 sits slightly below last year's $34,409.

That price decline suggests the GV70 has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price. If you purchase near the lower end of the current range, you may have a better chance of limiting your loss when it’s time to sell.

Strong equipment, distinctive styling, and broad owner satisfaction can help support demand in the used market. But resale will still depend on condition, mileage, and whether the vehicle has the features shoppers want most.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.1/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Genesis GV70 safe?

The GV70 comes standard with myriad safety features, including lane-keep assist, forward-collision warning, blind-spot and forward collision-avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic alert, a driver-attention monitor, and Highway Driving Assist, which adds automated lane centering to adaptive cruise control.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard safety suite is broad, and it also includes eight airbags, including a front-center airbag between the front seats. Optional Highway Driving Assist 2 adds lane-change functionality and navigation-based adaptive cruise control with auto-curve slowdown.

Because crash-test ratings from IIHS and NHTSA aren’t available yet, you should lean more heavily on the standard driver-assistance equipment and the condition of the specific used vehicle you’re considering.

Should I buy a 2022 Genesis GV70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.99% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.1/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 launch year established the GV70’s bold design, standard all-wheel drive, and strong tech package.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $33,904, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $30,628 average.
• It adds an all-electric version to the lineup.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2022 is the smarter starting point because prices have already softened and inventory is available. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer model year and want the expanded lineup, the 2023 is the better alternative.
