How much does the 2022 GMC Acadia cost?

Prices have softened 9.46% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,569 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 GMC Acadia a good car?

Yes — the 2022 GMC Acadia earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview describes it as a family-oriented crossover with modern connectivity, available all-wheel drive, and a broad trim lineup, so it fits well if you want a midsize SUV that balances everyday usefulness with a well-equipped cabin. The market also shows 35.6% good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 GMC Acadia reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview describes the second-generation Acadia as fairly reliable, and it also highlights a mature setup with available front- and all-wheel drive plus updated infotainment features. For used buyers, that suggests the bigger ownership risk is less about the model’s basic durability and more about finding one that has been maintained well and not worn down by heavy family use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 GMC Acadia?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any listing you like, even if it looks clean at first glance. Prioritize a careful inspection of the cabin, electronics, and drivetrain behavior, since this model is often chosen for family duty and higher-use examples can show wear in those areas. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records so you can separate a well-kept SUV from one that has simply been driven a lot.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 GMC Acadia?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Deal availability: 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,569 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.46% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 82.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,415, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 GMC Acadia's resale value?

The current average of $25,416 sits slightly below last year's $28,070.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is documented over time. If you keep the SUV clean, maintained, and accident-free, you give yourself a better chance of standing out when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 GMC Acadia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.46% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 is a strong pick if you want a well-equipped midsize SUV with good inventory depth and some pricing softness on your side. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than chasing the newest badge alone.
