How much does the 2022 Ford Transit Passenger cost?

There are 540 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2022 Ford Transit Passenger a good car?

With no expert test-drive score provided for this model year, your best read comes from the market data: pricing is below last year’s level, and the listing pool is large enough to give you options. That combination suggests you can shop selectively rather than rushing into the first acceptable example.

The market also shows 31.7% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you a solid share of value-oriented choices.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Ford Transit Passenger?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

Focus your inspection on condition, maintenance records, and any signs of heavy passenger use, since that can affect wear more than mileage alone. A pre-purchase inspection is especially useful if the van has seen frequent shuttle, fleet, or family-duty service.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Ford Transit Passenger?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to compare listings and wait for the right one.

• Deal availability: 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 540 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.37% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $34,326, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Ford Transit Passenger's resale value?

The current average of $35,764 sits slightly below last year's $39,462.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and documentation than on timing alone. If you keep the vehicle well maintained and present it cleanly, you’ll be in a stronger position when it’s time to sell.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford Transit Passenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.37% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2022 is a sensible choice if you want a year with softer pricing and a decent pool of clean listings to compare. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to keep shopping across nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the newest badge.
