Engine is meh. Has to be driven above 3000 RPM to get any performance out of it. Previous owner had modified the truck and there were things we would have had to remove, over sized tires rubbed the fender wells at full lock, bed rack and such. $40,000 for a 3 year old Ranger...no one is going to think thats a good value. Its a compact truck and it feels like it. Were coming from an F150 and its night and day difference.

The value is a bit high for me , from what I heard they are grate trucks but I did not see the snappiness from the truck when I drive it

I was very underwhelmed driving the ranger. I actually drove a couple last weekend. The turbo lag is the most disappointing on takeoff. Really slow on the uptake. Nice once it gets up to speed. I wonder how it would do hauling a load. The interior is the most underwhelming part however. It’s cheap plastics and small infotainment screen. I hate that the only thing that one would want is a lariat and that at 10k higher than the xl. The best thing is the look. They are sweet looking trucks. Here’s hoping they fix these issues in the ‘24. It looks so far like they have.
