How much does the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E cost?

Prices have softened 6.43% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,996 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E a good car?

Generally — the 4.3/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its outstanding performance, smooth driving experience, and stylish design, and many also appreciate the tech features and extensive charging network. That lines up well if you want an electric SUV that blends everyday usability with a sporty personality and a long list of standard features. With 36.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with praise for smooth driving and strong performance that suggests many buyers feel confident living with it over time. That said, used buyers should still plan for careful screening because long-term ownership risk can rise if you overlook battery-related history or condition issues.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s past is clean, especially if you’re comparing multiple listings. Put inspection priority on battery-related condition, charging behavior, and overall electrical system health. You should also focus on how the car presents in person, since condition differences can matter even when the listing looks strong on paper.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,996 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.43% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,200, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E's resale value?

The current average of $26,502 sits slightly below last year's $28,324.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also mean less upside if you plan to sell soon. For a future seller, the key is to buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition so you preserve as much value as possible. Demand should remain supported by the model’s strong owner satisfaction and broad appeal among EV shoppers.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.43% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $23,125, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $26,502 average.
• It introduced the Mach-E as Ford’s first mass-market electric crossover.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $29,924, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $26,502 average.
• It adds enhanced BlueCruise and more range-focused updates.

The bottom line:

The 2022 is the best all-around pick if you want a balanced mix of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less, the 2021 is the better value-oriented path, while the 2023 makes sense if you want to pay more for newer updates and added tech.
