Is the 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty a good car?

Yes — the 4.7/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its rugged build and capability, especially for towing and handling heavy loads, and many consider it a top contender in its class. The overview also shows why it fits you if you need a serious heavy-duty work truck that still offers a broad range of trims, configurations, and modern convenience features. Is the 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a truck that feels rugged and capable, and the overview notes that this generation had already built a strong reputation for reliability. That combination suggests you can count on it for demanding work if you choose a well-kept example. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the truck’s core toughness and more about finding one that has been maintained properly under heavy-duty use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because heavy-duty trucks are often used hard even when they look clean on paper. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the suspension, brakes, tires, and any signs of towing wear. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, especially if you are considering a diesel model or a truck that may have spent its life hauling.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting deep bargain-bin pricing.

• Deal availability: 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,228 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.20% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 85.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $53,530, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty's resale value?

The current average of $54,578 sits slightly below last year's $57,572.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future resale gains may be limited if prices keep easing. For a seller, the upside is that this truck still has strong appeal because buyers shopping heavy-duty pickups often care most about capability and condition. Well-kept examples should continue to draw interest, especially if they have desirable equipment and a clean history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.20% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $49,809, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $54,578 average.
• It offers serious towing strength after a refresh.

The bottom line: If you want the better-balanced shopping opportunity, the 2022 is the stronger primary choice because it combines solid inventory, a softer price trend, and strong owner satisfaction. If your top priority is spending less up front, the 2021 is the better price-sensitive alternative, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
