Is the 2022 Chrysler 300 a good car?

Yes — the 4.9/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the smooth performance, comfortable ride, and spacious interior, and many also like the stylish design and quality sound system. For you, that makes the 2022 Chrysler 300 a strong fit if you want a large sedan with a comfortable, upscale feel and a more traditional driving character. Is the 2022 Chrysler 300 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience centered on smooth performance and comfort. That kind of response suggests the 2022 Chrysler 300 can be a sensible used buy if you want a large sedan you can count on, though you should still expect normal wear-and-tear risk on any older vehicle.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chrysler 300?

At 70% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on every candidate and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body panels, paint match, alignment, and signs of uneven tire wear, since those can reveal past collision work. It also helps to focus on overall condition inside and out, because a well-kept example is more likely to deliver the smooth, comfortable ownership experience this model is known for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chrysler 300?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 28.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 686 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.40% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 70.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,503, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $23,809 sits slightly below last year's $25,436.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is documented. If you keep the car clean and well maintained, you improve your odds of standing out in a market where buyers still have choices.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 28.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 70% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.40% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $19,999, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $23,809 average.
• It offers a lower-cost, comfortable, rear-wheel-drive luxury sedan with available V8 power.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $29,304, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $23,809 average.
• It adds a final-year muscle-car sendoff with a 6.4-liter V8 and chassis upgrades.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, satisfaction, and available inventory, the 2022 is the primary path to consider. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the better secondary path; if you want the most performance and are willing to pay more, the 2023 is the upgrade path.
