How much does the 2022 Chrysler 300 cost?

Is the 2022 Chrysler 300 a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Chrysler 300 earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its smooth performance, comfortable ride, and spacious interior, and many also like its stylish design and quality sound system. If you want a large sedan with classic proportions, roomy seating, and a familiar, comfortable driving experience, this model year fits that use case well. With 27.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Chrysler 300 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also points to smooth performance and a comfortable ride, both of which usually matter in everyday ownership. The mention of durability and value in the model overview reinforces that this is a car many buyers can count on over time. For used buyers, that suggests lower long-term ownership risk than you might expect from a large sedan this old, especially if the car has been maintained well.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chrysler 300?

At 68.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with collision records. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on body panels, alignment, suspension, and signs of uneven wear. Because this is a large, older sedan with proven hardware, condition matters more than chasing the lowest sticker price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chrysler 300?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on strong listings.

• Deal availability: 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 698 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.50% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 68.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,424, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $23,511 sits slightly below last year's $25,144.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle, but it also means future resale gains may be limited if the market stays soft. The model’s appeal is still supported by its roomy cabin, classic rear-wheel-drive layout, and strong owner satisfaction. If you keep mileage reasonable and maintenance records organized, you should be in a better position when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 68.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.50% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $19,646, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $23,511 average.
• It offers a lower-cost, traditional rear-drive luxury-sedan feel.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $28,968, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $23,511 average.
• It adds a limited-production V8-focused performance upgrade.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around pick if you want the current-year balance of price, satisfaction, and availability. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the smarter value play; if you want more performance and are willing to pay up, the 2023 is the upgrade path.
