overall
Summary
With 1,452 currently listed for sale and an average price of $33,055, 29.8% of 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 listings on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4.28 / 5 stars and CarGurus experts gave it a 7.5 / 10.

Why it stands out
Thanks to mid-year updates, the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is more appealing than it’s been for a long time. The refreshed truck stands out because Chevrolet finally addressed one of its biggest weak points: starting with the LT trim, it gets a new interior, and the update list also includes the new Silverado ZR2 off-road performance model. That makes the 2022 Silverado 1500 feel more competitive and more modern, especially for buyers who care as much about the cabin as they do about the truck’s capability.
It also brings a lot of the qualities shoppers expect from a full-size pickup. The Silverado 1500 offers multiple powertrain options, and it is described as comfortable with impressive technology. Owner feedback lines up with that broad appeal, with drivers praising its powerful engines, smooth ride, good value, fuel efficiency, and comfort. At the same time, there are still tradeoffs: the ZR2 can’t match the power of rivals, the old interior design remains in WT and Custom trims, and Google Built-in is not necessarily better than what Chevrolet used before.
