Used 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV for Sale nearPlano, TX

How much does the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV cost?

Prices have softened 1.18% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 377 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV earns a 4.7/5 user rating and a 7.33/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 9/10.

Owners consistently praise its affordability, efficiency, and comfort in urban driving, and they also like the beautiful interior, convenience features, and smooth one-pedal driving experience. In use, that lines up with the Bolt EUV’s role as an everyday EV that feels easy to live with and well suited to commuting and city driving.

The trade-offs are that some drivers want better ride comfort and more range, while the expert review also points to fairly pedestrian performance and the lack of all-wheel drive. Even so, the Bolt EUV’s comfort, useful tech, and SUV-like packaging make it a practical fit if you want an affordable electric crossover rather than a sporty one.

Good and great deals account for 34.2% of listings, so there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to an EV that feels affordable, efficient, and comfortable, with smooth one-pedal driving and convenience features that make daily use easy to count on. That kind of feedback suggests the Bolt EUV is doing the basics well for long-term ownership.

The expert review also emphasizes its easy-to-use technology and relaxed, dependable daily-driving character, which supports the idea that it should be straightforward to live with over time. Chevy’s three-year, 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, five-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty, and eight-year, 100,000-mile battery warranty also help reduce early ownership risk.

For used buyers, the main long-term concern is battery condition and how the car was charged and maintained, so a careful inspection matters.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because even a clean-looking listing can hide prior damage or incomplete repairs. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on battery condition, charging behavior, tire wear, brake condition, and whether the car’s software and driver-assist features work as expected. For an EV like this, battery health and charging habits matter as much as cosmetic condition.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base LT trim leaves out Super Cruise, while the Premier can add it as an option and the Launch Edition makes it standard. The Launch Edition also adds model-specific alloy wheels, an illuminated charge port, and a standard panoramic sunroof.
• Powertrain: You get a single electric motor with 200 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque, plus front-wheel drive. The review describes the performance as fairly pedestrian, and all-wheel drive is not available.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, a forward-distance indicator, and front pedestrian braking. Super Cruise is not available on the base LT trim, is optional on the Premier, and standard on the Launch Edition.
• Infotainment: The standard setup includes a 10.2-inch touchscreen, an 8.0-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and standard wireless phone charging. A 4G LTE WiFi hotspot and Amazon Alexa compatibility are also available.
• Range & charging: Chevy quotes 250 miles of range. The onboard charger is 11 kilowatts, Level 2 charging takes about seven hours, and DC fast charging can recover up to 95 miles of range in 30 minutes.
• Battery health: On a used EV, you should check battery state-of-health, ask how often the car was charged at home versus on DC fast chargers, and confirm how much battery warranty coverage remains. A battery that has been treated gently and still has meaningful warranty coverage is the safer used-buying choice.

Which 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV trim should I buy?

The 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV is offered in 3 trim levels: LT, Premier, Launch Edition.

Here's the short version:

• LT: This is the value-focused starting point, and it gives you the core Bolt EUV experience with the standard EV powertrain, the 10.2-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the full base safety suite. It makes the most sense if you want the lowest entry price and can live without Super Cruise.
• Premier: This is the best-value trim if you want a more upscale feel, because it adds leather upholstery and can be equipped with Super Cruise. It suits you if you want the Bolt EUV’s comfort and tech story to feel more complete without jumping to the limited-edition model.
• Launch Edition: This is the most feature-rich version, with Super Cruise standard, plus model-specific alloy wheels, an illuminated charge port, and a standard panoramic sunroof. It makes sense if you want the most equipment and don’t mind paying for the limited-production package.

Super Cruise is not available on the base LT trim, optional on the Premier, and standard on the Launch Edition.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 377 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.18% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,664, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV's resale value?

The current average of $20,023 sits slightly below last year's $20,262.

That modest decline suggests the Bolt EUV has softened a bit, which can help you as a buyer but may limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. The current pricing also shows that the market has settled into a relatively stable range rather than dropping sharply.

For a future seller, that usually means value will depend more on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum. A clean history, strong battery health, and desirable features like Super Cruise should help your listing stand out.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV safe?

The 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features include automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, a forward-distance indicator, and front pedestrian braking. Super Cruise is the standout driver-assistance system here, but it is not available on the base LT trim, is optional on the Premier, and standard on the Launch Edition.

The system can handle acceleration, braking, and lane centering on mapped limited-access highways, and it uses a driver-facing camera to monitor attention. That makes it a strong convenience feature, but you still need to stay engaged because it is not a substitute for attentive driving.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.18% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It offers Super Cruise availability in a larger, more SUV-like Bolt package.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $21,250, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $20,023 average.
• It gets price cuts and advanced driver-assist tech at a lower new-car price.

The bottom line: If you want the better used-car value, the 2022 is the stronger starting point because it combines softer pricing, solid inventory, and strong owner satisfaction. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer model-year alternative, the 2023 is worth considering for its updated pricing and added appeal.
