Used 2022 Chevrolet Blazer for Sale nearAnaheim, CA

How much does the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer cost?

Prices have softened 10.82% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,933 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a 5/5 user-rated SUV with an expert rating of 6.17/10. The model scores 7/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise the stylish design, the powerful engine options, and the comfortable ride. The sporty handling and spacious interior also come up often, and many owners like the way the Blazer balances everyday usability with a more expressive look.

The trade-offs are that the seats are uncomfortable and the value proposition is weak, even though the SUV is easy to use and practical. That makes it a better fit if you want style, space, and approachable tech rather than the strongest all-around bargain.

With 34.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a reliable, dependable feel, with praise for a trouble-free ownership experience and confidence in the vehicle over the long term. The expert evaluation reinforces that this is a straightforward SUV to live with, and the easy-to-use technology helps reduce day-to-day friction.

The Blazer’s maintenance and ownership story is helped by the fact that the broader package is simple to operate and not overly complicated. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about complexity and more about making sure the specific vehicle has been cared for properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chevrolet Blazer?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 80% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because accident-free status is only a starting point. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on seat comfort, outward visibility, and the condition of the infotainment and driver-assistance features. It also makes sense to compare trim equipment closely, since the Blazer’s appeal changes a lot depending on how it’s equipped.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 2LT, 3LT, Premier, and RS trims differ in engine availability and appearance, and the base setup is the least powerful. The RS stands out with its V6 and more upscale feel, while the Premier adds a more polished presentation.
• Powertrain: The standard setup is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic and front- or all-wheel drive. The RS uses a 3.6-liter V6 with 308 hp and 270 lb-ft, and it can tow up to 4,500 pounds.
• Safety package: Chevy Safety Assist is standard and includes forward-collision warning, pedestrian detection, low-speed automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. Available upgrades include adaptive cruise control with enhanced automatic emergency braking, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and the Safety Alert Seat.
• Infotainment: You get an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Available upgrades add satellite radio, connected navigation with enhanced voice recognition, wireless charging, and connected services.
• Fuel efficiency: The available fuel-economy figure in the expert data is 21 mpg in combined driving for the RS AWD test vehicle, with a test-loop result of 20.5 mpg.

Which 2022 Chevrolet Blazer trim should I buy?

The 2022 Chevrolet Blazer is offered in 4 trim levels: 2LT, 3LT, Premier, and RS.

Here's the short version:

• 2LT: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Blazer experience with the standard turbo-four, easy-to-use tech, and the standard safety suite. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost path into the lineup.
• 3LT: This trim is the better value if you want more flexibility, since it can be paired with the available V6 while staying below the RS. It’s the trim to watch if you want stronger performance without jumping straight to the top model.
• Premier: Choose this if you want a more upscale look and feel, including the revised exterior details and standard wheel changes mentioned in the expert review. It suits you if comfort and presentation matter more than outright performance.
• RS: This is the most distinctive trim, with the standard V6 and the more sophisticated twin-clutch AWD system. It’s the right pick if you want the strongest powertrain and the sportiest personality.

Chevy Safety Assist is standard across the lineup, but some of the more advanced driver-assistance features remain optional.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chevrolet Blazer?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,933 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.82% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 80.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,711, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer's resale value?

The current average of $23,711 sits slightly below last year's $26,588.

That price movement suggests the Blazer has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price. If you shop near the current average or below it, you reduce the amount of value left to lose over your ownership period.

The model’s style and broad appeal help it stay visible to shoppers, but its weaker value reputation can limit upside compared with stronger rivals. Even so, a well-bought example should remain reasonably marketable if it’s clean, well maintained, and equipped in a desirable trim.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer safe?

The 2022 Chevrolet Blazer does not earn a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS because its headlights do not provide high-ranking illumination.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Chevy Safety Assist is standard, and it includes forward-collision warning, pedestrian detection, low-speed automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. Standard rear-seat reminder and Teen Driver technology add more everyday protection, while available upgrades include adaptive cruise control with enhanced automatic emergency braking, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and the Safety Alert Seat.

The main caveat is that some of the available safety tech is optional rather than standard, so you’ll want to check the equipment list carefully on any used example.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Blazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 80% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.82% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines approachable tech with a practical two-row layout and a sporty, style-first personality.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $20,964, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $23,711 average.
• It emphasizes style and handling over practicality.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $27,207, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $23,711 average.
• It adds a larger touchscreen and available wireless charging.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around choice if you want the current-year price correction, strong owner satisfaction, and a broad inventory to shop from. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the better value play; if you want newer tech and don’t mind paying more, the 2023 is the upgrade path.
