How much does the 2022 Buick Envision cost?

Prices have softened 7.57% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,786 listings available, which suggests you have a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Buick Envision a good car?

Yes — the 4.7/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the 2022 Envision’s overview supports that with its upscale feel, quiet cabin, stylish interior, and comfortable ride. It also stands out for its standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, LED headlights, and Driver Confidence Plus safety package, which make it appealing if you want a well-equipped compact SUV with a premium-leaning personality. The model’s 36.5% good or great deal share suggests there are still attractive listings to consider.

Is the 2022 Buick Envision reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2022 Envision’s overview points to a refined, comfort-focused SUV with a strong standard equipment list, which can make day-to-day ownership feel straightforward and pleasant. Its quiet cabin and available convenience features also suggest a vehicle designed to reduce friction in regular use. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific example you choose has been maintained well and shows no signs of wear that could undermine that upscale experience.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Buick Envision?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because even a strong accident-free share does not guarantee the individual vehicle you’re considering has a clean past. Put inspection priority on the cabin, electronics, and comfort features, since those are central to the Envision’s appeal. Also focus on overall condition and signs of neglect, because a refined SUV like this is best when its premium feel is intact.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Buick Envision?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,786 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.57% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,253, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Buick Envision's resale value?

The current average of $23,253 sits slightly below last year's $25,157.

That softer pricing can help you buy more efficiently now, but it also means future resale will depend on how well the market continues to value this model’s upscale presentation and comfort-focused appeal. If demand stays steady for well-equipped compact SUVs with a premium feel, the Envision should remain reasonably marketable. Condition, mileage, and feature content will matter a lot when you eventually sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Buick Envision or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.57% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $21,060, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $23,253 average.
• It offers a redesigned-generation start with stylish design and comfortable driving.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2022 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2021 is the better value play, especially if you find one in excellent condition.

How does the 2022 Buick Envision compare to the 2022 GMC Terrain?

The Envision is the more upscale and more powerful choice, while the Terrain is the cheaper used buy with slightly more listings. If you want a quieter, more premium-feeling compact SUV, the Envision has the edge; if you want to spend less and still get a broadly similar market profile, the Terrain is worth a look.
