What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Buick Envision?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a careful inspection of the body, interior, and electronics so you can confirm the vehicle matches its listing. Pay close attention to overall condition, because a comfortable, well-equipped SUV like this should still feel refined in daily use. If possible, test the ride quality and cabin quietness to make sure the vehicle still delivers the polished feel this model is known for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Buick Envision?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Deal availability: 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,870 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.24% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,349, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Buick Envision's resale value?

The current average of $23,349 sits slightly below last year's $25,173.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, a well-kept example with strong equipment and clean history should be easier to market than one with visible wear or accident history. The current price trend suggests you should buy carefully now so you have less depreciation pressure to absorb later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Buick Envision or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.24% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $21,237, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $23,349 average.
• It marks the start of the redesigned generation with a stylish design and comfortable driving experience.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger overall market balance, the 2022 is the better default choice because it combines a softer price trend with solid inventory and strong owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2021 is the smarter secondary path, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
