Used 2022 Buick Enclave for Sale nearSaint Louis, MO

How much does the 2022 Buick Enclave cost?

Prices have softened 14.39% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,815 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2022 Buick Enclave a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Buick Enclave earns a 4.7/5 user rating and a 7/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.

You get a quiet cabin, a spacious interior, and a smooth, comfortable ride, which makes it a strong fit if you want a relaxed three-row family SUV with a more upscale feel. The overview also points to a meaningful freshening for this year, including updated styling, a revised cabin, and newly standard driver-assistance tech. The main trade-offs are value and fuel economy, so you should expect comfort and features to be the bigger draw than bargain pricing or efficiency.

Good and great deals account for 35.7% of listings, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2022 Buick Enclave reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe it as smooth, quiet, comfortable, and spacious, and they also call out its excellent safety features. That combination points to a vehicle many owners feel they can count on for everyday use and family duty. The expert notes also emphasize a drama-free, premium ride and a powertrain that feels responsive for a vehicle this size.

Buick also includes the first scheduled maintenance visit at no charge, which helps early ownership costs a bit. For used buyers, the bigger long-term risk is that repair costs and fuel use may be less friendly than the comfort and refinement suggest.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Buick Enclave?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any candidate and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the vehicle has higher mileage or incomplete service records. Focus on overall condition, since comfort features, electronics, and driver-assistance systems are a big part of the Enclave’s appeal. If you’re comparing multiple listings, pay close attention to trim content and whether the equipment matches the asking price.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Essence, Premium, and Avenir trims are all nicely equipped, but the base Preferred trim is discontinued for 2022. The Avenir adds its own unique grille, fascias, body-colored lowers, taillamps, 20-inch wheels, climate-controlled front seats, heated second-row captain’s chairs, and unique trim and seat stitching.
• Powertrain: The Enclave uses a 3.6-liter V6 with a nine-speed automatic transmission. It makes 310 horsepower and comes standard with front-wheel drive, while all-wheel drive is available on all trims.
• Safety package: Every Enclave gets the Buick Driver Confidence Plus package, which includes automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, lane-change alert with blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, lane-keeping assistance with lane-departure warning, rear park assist, following-distance indicator, and automatic high-beam headlights. Premium trim adds enhanced automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera, head-up display, and rear pedestrian alert.
• Infotainment: Essence trim gets an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto plus wireless phone charging. Premium and Avenir add navigation, and the larger 8-inch reconfigurable driver information display is also reserved for those trims.
• Fuel efficiency: The Enclave returns 21 mpg combined in front-wheel-drive form and 20 mpg combined with all-wheel drive.

Which 2022 Buick Enclave trim should I buy?

The 2022 Buick Enclave is offered in 3 trim levels: Essence, Premium, Avenir.

Here's the short version:

• Essence: This is the best-value trim if you want the Enclave’s core strengths without paying for extras you may not need. You still get the standard safety tech, the 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging, and the same V6 powertrain.
• Premium: This is the trim to target if you want the best balance of equipment and comfort. It adds navigation, the larger reconfigurable driver display, the 10-speaker Bose audio system, and extra safety tech such as adaptive cruise control and a surround-view camera.
• Avenir: This is the pick if you want the most upscale presentation and the richest feature set. It adds unique styling, upgraded interior details, climate-controlled front seats, heated second-row captain’s chairs, and the premium ride hardware described in the test vehicle.

The safety package is standard across the lineup, while Premium and Avenir add more advanced driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Buick Enclave?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on strong listings.

• Deal availability: 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,815 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.39% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 82.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,135, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Buick Enclave's resale value?

The current average of $26,135 sits slightly below last year's $30,528.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and trim than on broad market momentum. Well-equipped examples with strong presentation should be easier to move than rougher or less desirable listings.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Buick Enclave safe?

The 2022 Buick Enclave earns an Acceptable rating from IIHS and four out of five stars for rollover resistance from NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Buick makes the Driver Confidence Plus package standard on all Enclaves, and it includes automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, lane-change alert with blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, lane-keeping assistance with lane-departure warning, rear park assist, following-distance indicator, and automatic high-beam headlights. Standard safety equipment also includes a Safety Alert driver’s seat, a rear-seat reminder system, and an HD reversing camera. Premium trim adds enhanced automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera, head-up display, and rear pedestrian alert.

The main caveat is the IIHS side-impact result, which trails the Enclave’s otherwise strong crash-test performance.

Should I buy a 2022 Buick Enclave or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It brings a meaningful freshening, plus standard driver-assistance and safety tech across the lineup.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $22,583, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $26,135 average.
• It is especially appealing in its top trim.

The 2022 is the better choice if you want the updated styling, newer cabin details, and standard safety tech. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2021 can still make sense, especially if you find a well-kept example in a desirable trim.
