Used 2022 Buick Enclave for Sale nearOlney, IL

How much does the 2022 Buick Enclave cost?

Prices have softened 14.12% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,819 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Buick Enclave a good car?

Yes — it earns a 4.67/5 user rating and a 7/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.

Drivers consistently praise the quiet cabin, great ride quality, and spacious interior. The review summary also points to a comfortable and luxurious feel, which fits a three-row SUV aimed at relaxed family use.

The main trade-offs are poor value for money and poor fuel economy, so you should weigh comfort and space against running costs. That said, the Enclave’s role as a roomy, upscale family hauler comes through clearly, and 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2022 Buick Enclave reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also emphasizes that the Enclave feels reliable, dependable, and trouble-free, with comfort and safety standing out over time. The expert evaluation reinforces that impression by describing the SUV as quiet, smooth, and drama-free on the road.

Buick also includes the first scheduled maintenance visit at no charge, which helps lower early ownership friction. For used buyers, the bigger long-term risk is not outright durability so much as higher repair and fuel costs if the vehicle has been neglected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Buick Enclave?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 83% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the cabin electronics, driver-assistance features, and signs of uneven wear, since this is a comfort-focused SUV where condition matters a lot. If you want the best ownership experience, pay close attention to how well the vehicle’s features work and whether the trim level matches the equipment you expect.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Essence trim is the entry point, while Premium and Avenir add more upscale equipment. The Avenir stands out with unique grille and exterior trim details, climate-controlled front seats standard, and heated second-row captain’s chairs, while the base trim does not get those upgrades.
• Powertrain: Every Enclave uses a 3.6-liter V6 with a nine-speed automatic. It makes 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque, with front-wheel drive standard and all-wheel drive available on all trims.
• Safety package: Every Enclave gets the Buick Driver Confidence Plus package with automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, lane-change alert with blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, lane-keeping assistance with lane-departure warning, rear park assist, following-distance indicator, and automatic high-beam headlights. Premium adds enhanced automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera, head-up display, and rear pedestrian alert.
• Infotainment: Essence gets an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto plus wireless phone charging. Premium and Avenir add navigation, and the larger 8-inch reconfigurable driver display appears on those trims as well.
• Fuel efficiency: The FWD version returns 21 mpg combined, while AWD gets 20 mpg combined.

Which 2022 Buick Enclave trim should I buy?

The 2022 Buick Enclave is offered in 3 trim levels: Essence, Premium, Avenir.

Here's the short version:

• Essence: This is the best-value choice if you want the Enclave’s core strengths without paying for extras. You still get the V6, the quiet ride, the roomy cabin, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, and the full standard safety package.
• Premium: This is the trim to target if you want a stronger mix of comfort and convenience. It adds navigation, the larger driver display, and more advanced safety and convenience features, making it a smart middle ground for many shoppers.
• Avenir: This is the most upscale version, with unique styling, richer interior details, climate-controlled front seats, heated second-row captain’s chairs, and the most premium overall presentation. It suits you best if you want the most luxurious Enclave experience.

The standard safety package is now included across the lineup, so you do not need to move up a trim just to get the core driver-assistance tech.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Buick Enclave?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on strong listings.

• Deal availability: 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,819 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.12% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 83.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,442, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Buick Enclave's resale value?

The current average of $26,590 sits slightly below last year's $30,962.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that resale value will likely depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment level rather than broad market momentum alone. Well-kept examples with desirable features should hold up better than neglected ones, especially if they present as clean, comfortable family SUVs.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Buick Enclave safe?

The 2022 Buick Enclave earns Good ratings in all but one IIHS crash test, where it received an Acceptable score, and NHTSA has given it four-star rollover resistance.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Buick makes the Buick Driver Confidence Plus package standard on every Enclave, and that includes automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, lane-change alert with blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, lane-keeping assistance with lane-departure warning, rear park assist, following-distance indicator, and automatic high-beam headlights. Standard safety equipment also includes a Safety Alert driver’s seat, a rear-seat reminder system, and an HD reversing camera.

Premium trim adds enhanced automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera, head-up display, and rear pedestrian alert. The main caveat is the IIHS updated side-impact result, which trails the rest of the Enclave’s otherwise strong crash-test performance.

Should I buy a 2022 Buick Enclave or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Buick made standard driver-assistance and safety technology a major part of the 2022 update.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $23,000, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $26,590 average.
• It is especially appealing in its top trim level.

The bottom line: If you want the better-equipped, more safety-forward version of the Enclave, the 2022 is the stronger pick. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2021 can still make sense, especially if you find a clean, well-kept example in a desirable trim.
