Used 2022 Buick Enclave for Sale near New York

How much does the 2022 Buick Enclave cost?

Prices have softened 13.93% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,783 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Buick Enclave a good car?

Yes — it earns a 4.7/5 user rating and a 7/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.

Owners consistently praise the Enclave for its quiet cabin, smooth ride, and spacious interior. The user feedback also points to a comfortable, luxurious feel, with safety features standing out as another recurring strength.

The main trade-offs are value and efficiency: the expert review calls out poor value for money and poor fuel economy. For you, that means the Enclave makes the most sense if comfort, space, and a relaxed family-hauler personality matter more than running costs.

With 35.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Buick Enclave reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback highlights a smooth, quiet ride, a spacious cabin, and a generally comfortable, dependable feel. The expert review also emphasizes a drama-free premium ride and Buick’s quiet, refined driving character.

Buick also includes the first maintenance service at no charge, which helps reduce early ownership costs. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that repair costs and fuel use can add up if you want a low-stress ownership experience without premium-brand running expenses.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Buick Enclave?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example. Focus on overall condition, signs of prior bodywork, and whether the cabin and technology features still work as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Essence trim is the entry point, while Premium and Avenir add more upscale equipment. The Avenir gets unique exterior styling, body-colored lowers, distinctive taillamps, and 20-inch wheels, while the base trim misses some of the more premium visual and comfort touches.
• Powertrain: The Enclave uses a 3.6-liter V6 with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, all-wheel drive is available on all trims, and the setup is tuned for a quiet, smooth, drama-free ride rather than off-road use.
• Safety package: Buick Driver Confidence Plus is standard on all trims and includes automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, lane-change alert with blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, lane-keeping assistance with lane-departure warning, rear park assist, following-distance indicator, and automatic high-beam headlights. Premium adds enhanced automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera, head-up display, and rear pedestrian alert.
• Infotainment: The Enclave Essence gets an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto plus wireless phone charging. Premium and Avenir add navigation, and the system can pair up to 10 devices with two smartphones active at once.
• Fuel efficiency: The FWD version returns 21 mpg combined, while the AWD version returns 20 mpg combined. During testing, it averaged 20.2 mpg in mixed driving.

Which 2022 Buick Enclave trim should I buy?

The 2022 Buick Enclave is offered in 3 trim levels: Essence, Premium, Avenir.

Here's the short version:

• Essence: This is the best-value starting point because it brings the newly standard safety tech, the V6 powertrain, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless phone charging. If you want the Enclave’s core comfort and space without paying for extra luxury features, this is the trim to target.
• Premium: This is the smart step-up if you want more convenience and driver-assistance equipment. It adds navigation, the larger reconfigurable driver display, the Bose audio system, and extra safety tech such as adaptive cruise control and a surround-view camera.
• Avenir: This is the most upscale choice, with unique styling, upgraded interior trim, heated second-row captain’s chairs, climate-controlled front seats, and the most complete feature set. It suits you best if you want the Enclave at its most luxurious and are willing to pay for it.

Safety tech is standard across the lineup, but Premium and Avenir bring the most advanced available driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Buick Enclave?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,783 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.93% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 80.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,915, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Buick Enclave's resale value?

The current average of $25,915 sits slightly below last year's $30,108.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help future buyers but puts pressure on current owners hoping for a strong trade-in. If you buy at the right price now, you may reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later.

The Enclave’s strong owner satisfaction rating helps support demand, especially among shoppers who value comfort and space. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Buick Enclave safe?

The 2022 Buick Enclave earns four-star ratings for rollover resistance from NHTSA, and the IIHS gave it the highest-possible "Good" ratings in all but one crash test, where it received an "Acceptable" score.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Buick Driver Confidence Plus is standard on all trims and includes automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, lane-change alert with blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, lane-keeping assistance with lane-departure warning, rear park assist, following-distance indicator, and automatic high-beam headlights. Premium adds enhanced automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera, head-up display, and rear pedestrian alert.

The main caveat is the IIHS side-impact result, which is not as strong as the rest of the crash-test performance. Even so, the standard safety package is broad, and the Enclave’s safety story is a major part of its appeal.

Should I buy a 2022 Buick Enclave or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.93% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 model brings a freshening with new styling, wireless smartphone integration, and standard driver-assistance tech.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $22,291, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $25,915 average.
• It is roomy, quiet, and upscale, but its value and tech feel less modern.

The bottom line: If you want the newer styling, standard safety tech, and wireless smartphone integration, the 2022 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is saving money upfront and you can live with an older-feeling cabin and tech setup, the 2021 is the more budget-friendly path.
