Is the 2022 BMW X6 a good car?

Yes — the 4.5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. The 2022 BMW X6 stands out because it blends the X6’s signature coupe-like shape with the kind of performance hardware and luxury equipment that make it feel more specialized than a conventional midsize SUV. It also offers a lowered stance, a sleeker roofline, and a cabin loaded with technology and comfort features, so you’re shopping for style and upscale feel as much as utility. 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 BMW X6 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2022 BMW X6 comes with generous standard equipment, including two 12.3-inch displays running iDrive 7, navigation, adaptive LED headlights, blind-spot monitors, forward emergency braking, lane-departure warning, a panoramic moonroof, and heated front seats. That combination of upscale hardware and broad standard content suggests a well-equipped ownership experience, especially if you value a premium cabin and strong performance. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a specialized luxury SUV can be more expensive to keep in top condition than a more conventional crossover.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 BMW X6?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report to confirm accident status, title status, and service consistency. Then prioritize a thorough inspection of the body, wheels, tires, and interior condition, since this model’s sporty styling and premium equipment can make cosmetic wear more noticeable. Focus on how the vehicle presents overall, because a luxury crossover like this tends to reward buyers who choose the cleanest example they can find.

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 458 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.91% compared with last year.

What is the 2022 BMW X6's resale value?

The current average of $45,136 sits slightly below last year's $51,239.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, it also means resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. A clean, well-kept example should still attract interest because this model’s styling and premium positioning give it a distinct place in the used market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 BMW X6 or consider a different year?

• Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.91% compared with last year.
