True, pure sports cars are few and far between in the auto industry. The Audi TT is a minimalist, two-seat roadster that puts the joy of driving front-and-center. The TT doesn’t get many significant changes for the 2022 model year, but Audi did add a special bronze edition with unique 21-inch wheels and bronze interior accents to the lineup.

The TT is offered in one trim, but two body styles—coupe and convertible. Standard equipment includes leather upholstery, heated and power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone climate control, pushbutton start, wireless device charging, and a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system.

You won’t find a central infotainment screen because all of those functions are baked into the standard Audi Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster, along with the standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality.

The Audi TT comes equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which makes 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Audi also offers the more powerful TTS and TT RS, which are covered in their own reviews.

Power is routed through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with manual to Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive (AWD). The TT also features Audi Drive Select, with Dynamic, Comfort, Auto, and Individual drive modes.

As far as trunk space is concerned, the TT coupe provides 12 cubic feet, and the convertible provides just 7.5 cubic feet. The TT roadster’s convertible top can also open or close in about 10 seconds, according to Audi.

The 2022 Audi TT has a base MSRP of $50,845. The TT convertible starts at $54,945. The Audi TT is backed by a four-year, 50,000-mile limited warranty.
