The 2022 Aston Martin DB11 is a taut, aggressive, ultra-luxury sports car. With its wide corporate grille flanked by menacing headlights, the DB11 loudly declares its intentions to deliver corner-carving thrills. The DB11 was first introduced for the 2017 model year. For 2022, the standard V8 engine gains more power and offers a higher top speed.

The DB11 is offered as a coupe or as the Volante convertible. Both offer a 2+2 seating configuration, with form-fitting front bucket seats and small rear seats. With just 9.5 cubic feet of cargo space, those rear seats may come in handy for extra storage. The front seats are covered in rich leather and are heavily bolstered to keep occupants firmly planted in hard cornering.

Standard features on the DB11 include XM satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a 400-watt premium stereo system, and an 8-inch infotainment screen. It is derived from a Mercedes-Benz system and utilizes a central dial for operation.

Aston Martin outfits the DB11 with a standard 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. It makes 528 horsepower—up from 503 in the 2021 model. The DB11 is also available with a 630-horsepower 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine. Both engines route power to the rear wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission. The V8-powered DB11 can sprint from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in four seconds flat. The V12 DB11 can do the same deed in just 3.7 seconds.

The V8 DB11 returns fuel economy of 18 mpg city, 24 highway, and 20 combined. The V12 version returns 14 mpg city, 22 highway, and 17 combined.

The DB11 comes equipped with a 360-degree parking monitor, front-and-rear parking sensors, and a full array of front-and-side impact airbags. Optional safety tech includes blind-spot monitoring and a self-parking feature.
