About 2020 Aston Martin DB11
Overview

The Aston Martin DB11 is an exotic grand-tourer, much in the same vein as the Ferrari Roma and Bentley Continental GT. The latest such car from Aston Martin, it debuted in 2017 and has no changes of note for 2021.
Aston Martin sells the DB11 in both fixed-roof Coupe and soft-top-convertible Volante versions. Both have two full-size seats and a pair of back seats that are best left for small children or short runs. You can also pick a roof color that contrasts or complements the body color with either style.
Cylinder count and power are aplenty across the DB11’s range, which consists of V8, Volante, and AMR models. V8 and Volante models get a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 that delivers 503 horsepower and 498 pound-feet of torque, delivering a 0-62 mph time as short as 3.9 seconds. The AMR, available exclusively in the Coupe body style, comes with a twin-turbocharged 5.2-liter V12 capable of 630 hp, 516 lb-ft, and a 0-62 time of 3.7 s. They both mate up to an 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and rear-wheel drive (RWD) is the only option. AMR models also come with upgraded suspension, brakes, and all sorts of pleasant auditory drama from the performance exhaust.
Standard features on the DB11 include 20-inch alloy wheels, LED exterior lights, power-folding and heated side mirrors, a power rear spoiler, keyless access, an 8-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 9-speaker, 400-watt sound system, leather upholstery, 12-way front seats, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, and an Alcantara headliner. In addition to the numerous paint finishes, trims, and upholstery hides, you can add Bang & Olufsen sound, heated and cooled front seats, a touchpad interface, power seat bolsters, and a heated steering wheel.
Safety-wise, every DB11 gets cameras on all sides, parking sensors front and rear, and a full complement of airbags. Blind-spot monitoring and automatic parking are optional. Unfortunately, advanced features like automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control are missing from the DB11’s options list. Like many other cars in this price territory, there’s also no public crash test data from either the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
The Aston Martin DB11 effortlessly blends classic British luxury with a serious amount of hustle.
