Used 2021 Aston Martin DB11 for Sale near Phoenix, AZ
Overview
FAQs
More than an exotic sports car, the Aston Martin DB11 extends the legacy of the grand-touring sports coupe well into the 21st century.
These vehicles are all about performance, and the DB11 has plenty. A 503-horsepower, 4.0-liter V8 engine makes 513 pound-feet of torque in the base coupe and Volante (convertible) trims. Buy a DB11 AMR, and you’ll get a 5.2-liter V12 with 630 hp and 516 lb-ft. Unfortunately, the AMR is offered only as a coupe, so you won’t get to hear that V12 without a roof over your head. Regardless of engine, all DB11 models get an eight-speed transmission and rear-wheel drive (RWD).
Clearly, this is a beautiful car with big muscles under the hood. And, like a true grand tourer, the DB11 features a 2+2 seating arrangement. This allows for comfortable positioning for the driver and front passenger, plus space in the back for a kid or some extra luggage.
Aston Martin adds a Shadow Edition package for 2021. It includes blacked-out exterior bits, but it’s not available on the AMR model—and production is limited to 300 vehicles.
Storage for front-seaters is limited, but the quality of the seats and upholstery are phenomenal. You can add some key features like a premium, 1000-watt Bang and Olufsen stereo and a heated steering wheel for an extra cost.
Interestingly, the infotainment system’s screen measures only 8 inches, diagonally, and it’s not a touch-sensitive unit. Instead, you’ll control it using a rotary controller or an optional touchpad.
Shoppers get a standard 360-degree surround-view monitor plus front and rear parking sensors in every DB11. Aston Martin offers blind-spot monitoring and auto parking as optional features, but shoppers shouldn’t be surprised to hear that the DB11—like many vehicles in its price tier—has not been tested by either the NHTSA or the IIHS.
With regards to fuel economy, the EPA estimates 18 mpg city, 24 highway for the V8, 15/22 for the V12. Those numbers are surprisingly not terrible for the amount of power the DB11 puts in its driver’s hands, but we’d expect to see Aston Martin continue its move away from high-cylinder-count engines and toward electrification.
Prices rise from $208,425 for a V8 DB11 Coupe to $248,725 for the AMR, making this a particularly expensive set of wheels. Not to mention, a wide array of options can push the price even higher.
