Used 2021 RAM 2500 for Sale near Iowa

Ram’s long-standing line of Heavy Duty pickup trucks runs the gamut from bare bones to downright luxurious. Like its siblings, covered in separate reviews, the Ram 2500 was redesigned for the 2019 model year. It carries over into 2021 with a few minor changes. The 2022 Ram 2500 is available in seven trim levels: Tradesman, Big Horn, Lone Star, Power Wagon, Laramie, Limited Longhorn, and Limited. Ram 2500 buyers have further customization options in the Regular, Crew, and Mega cab configurations. A 6.4-liter HEMI V8 gas engine is standard on the Ram 2500—it produces a very respectable 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque, and it’s paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Then there’s the 6.7-liter Cummins engine. This inline-six turbo diesel is available on every trim but Power Wagon. The Ram 2500 gets the Standard-Output version, which makes 370 horsepower and 850 lb-ft of torque (a 400-horsepower High-Output option making 1,000 lb-ft of torque is available on the 3500). It's coupled with a six-speed automatic. The 2021 Ram 2500 can tow up to 19,780 pounds when properly equipped. It’s the only vehicle in its segment to feature a link-coil rear for improved ride and handling, and it also offers optional rear air suspension. 17-inch wheels are standard for Tradesman, and 18-inch are available. 18-inch chrome-clad steel wheels are standard for Big Horn and Lone Star. Power Wagon models get unique 17-inch wheels. Laramie modesl get 18-inch polished aluminum wheels, to which Granite paint is added for the Limited Longhorn trim, and 20-inch polished, clear-coated aluminum wheels are standard for the top Limited trim. A Night Edition for Limited trim is new for 2021. It adds 20-inch black wheels, a black grille, matte black badging, and a black interior with a 12-inch touchscreen. The base trim, Tradesman, also has a black grille, but buyers can opt for the available Chrome Appearance Package to make it look more like the pricier Big Horn and Lone Star models. Big Horn and Lone Star trims have two appearance packages to choose from: Night Edition and Sport Appearance. Heavy-duty vinyl seats are standard and cloth is an option on Tradesman models of the 2021 Ram 2500. Black cloth seats are standard for Big Horn and Lone Star, with other colors available as options. The standard seats for Power Wagon are covered in a vinyl-cloth combo. Leather-trimmed seats are available for Power Wagon and Laramie, and premium leather seats are standard for Limited Longhorn and Limited. Power Wagon trims and up get a power-adjustable driver’s seat. Laramie adds a power-adjustable passenger seat plus heated front seats and a heated steering wheel, and Limited Longhorn and Limited add ventilated front seats and heated rear seats. The 2021 Ram 2500 comes standard with Stellantis’s Uconnect 3 infotainment system with a 5-inch display, plus a 3.5-inch driver information display cluster (the driver information display sizes up to 7 inches for Power Wagon trims and up). Power Wagon and Laramie models run the more advanced Uconnect 4 with an 8.4-inch display and SiriusXM Radio (6-month trial included). Limited Longhorn models get the 8.4-inch display with Uconnect 4C, which includes navigation, and Limited gets a 12-inch touchscreen running the same system. Little in the way of safety tech is standard aside from a rear back-up camera, a theft-deterrent system, and electronic stability control (ESC). The Power Wagon trim gets hill descent control and front and rear park assist. Laramie adds remote start, a security alarm, and proximity keyless entry. Limited Longhorn adds rain-sensing windshield wipers and directional headlamps with adaptive, automatic high beams, and if you go all the way up to Limited, you’ll get blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-path detection. The 2021 Ram 2500 is on sale now. Manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) starts at $35,425 for the Tradesman trim with Crew Cab configuration and rear-wheel drive and goes all the way up to $67,540 for the Limited trim with a Mega Cab configuration and four-wheel drive.
