Used 2021 Porsche Panamera for Sale nearBaltimore, MD

How much does the 2021 Porsche Panamera cost?

Prices have softened 2.54% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 178 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2021 Porsche Panamera a good car?

Yes — it earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.33/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

The Panamera’s appeal is that it blends Porsche sports-car character with four-door practicality, and for 2021 it adds powertrain and suspension upgrades, new tires, a reshuffled lineup, and subtle styling changes. It also gives you a broad set of choices, including V6, V8, and plug-in hybrid powertrains, rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, and sedan, Executive, and Sport Turismo body styles.

The main trade-off is that it is not a pure sports car, and a manual transmission is not available. It also leans heavily toward performance over value, so you should expect a premium ownership experience rather than a bargain.

30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2021 Porsche Panamera reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Panamera’s appeal is reinforced by its focus on driving enjoyment and its broad, well-developed lineup. Porsche also gives you a solid warranty, and the model’s performance-oriented engineering is paired with a refined chassis and strong road manners.

Its powertrain lineup includes a base twin-turbo V6, V8 options, and plug-in hybrid variants, so you can choose the setup that best fits your priorities. Porsche also notes that the plug-in hybrid’s electric range depends heavily on how often you charge it, which matters if you want to maximize efficiency.

Porsche does not include free scheduled maintenance, so long-term ownership costs can be higher than you might expect. For used buyers, the biggest risk is paying premium-car money for a car that may still require premium-car upkeep.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Porsche Panamera?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on higher-mileage or heavily optioned cars. Focus on overall condition, service records, and whether the car’s equipment matches the trim and body style you want.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Base models get eight-way power-adjustable front seats with driver memory, while higher-end versions add more upscale seating and trim details. The Panamera’s styling and cabin design are a big part of its appeal, so pay attention to how the interior equipment and seat support line up with the version you’re considering.
• Powertrain: You can choose from a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6, a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, or plug-in hybrid setups that add an electric motor to the V6 or V8. The base six-cylinder model is rated at 20 mpg combined, while the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid is rated at 52 MPGe combined with 19 miles of electric range and 22 mpg combined in hybrid mode.
• Safety package: Standard safety features include lane-keep assist, parking sensors, and traffic sign recognition. Blind-spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control cost extra, and Porsche’s InnoDrive system adds more automation through navigation integration.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch central touchscreen, reconfigurable digital displays, Bluetooth, wireless Apple CarPlay, and wired Android Auto. A head-up display and night vision are also available.
• Fuel efficiency: The base six-cylinder model is rated at 20 mpg combined, while the optional V8 trims that down by a couple of mpg. The Panamera 4 E-Hybrid is rated at 52 MPGe combined, with 19 miles of electric range and 22 mpg combined in hybrid mode.

Which 2021 Porsche Panamera trim should I buy?

The 2021 Porsche Panamera is offered in 24 trim levels: Panamera, Panamera 4, Panamera 4S, Panamera GTS, Panamera Turbo S, Panamera E-Hybrid, Panamera 4 E-Hybrid, Panamera 4S E-Hybrid, Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid, Panamera Executive, Panamera 4 Executive, Panamera 4S Executive, Panamera GTS Executive, Panamera Turbo S Executive, Panamera E-Hybrid Executive, Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Executive, Panamera 4S E-Hybrid Executive, Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Executive, Panamera Sport Turismo, Panamera 4 Sport Turismo, Panamera 4S Sport Turismo, Panamera GTS Sport Turismo, Panamera Turbo S Sport Turismo, and Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo.

Here's the short version:

• Panamera: This is the entry point if you want the lowest starting price and the core Panamera experience. It gives you the model’s distinctive Porsche character, but you’ll want to compare it carefully against the 4 and 4S if you want more traction or stronger performance.
• Panamera 4: This is the better all-around choice for many shoppers because it adds all-wheel drive while keeping the Panamera’s everyday usability and driver-focused feel. If you want the best balance of capability and price, this is the trim to start with.
• Panamera 4S: This is the sweet spot if you want a stronger performance edge without jumping all the way to the V8-focused models. It suits you if you want more urgency and still want a broad, usable luxury sedan.
• Panamera GTS: This is the choice for you if driving enjoyment matters most. It brings the more driver-focused character highlighted in the test car and is the best fit if you want the Panamera to feel as sporty as possible without going to the top-tier Turbo S models.
• Panamera Turbo S: This is the top performance pick if you want the most extreme acceleration and the highest-output V8 setup. It’s the right choice if outright speed is your priority and price is secondary.
• Panamera E-Hybrid: This is the efficiency-minded option if you want plug-in capability and the flexibility of electric driving for short trips. It makes the most sense if you can charge regularly and want to reduce fuel use.
• Panamera 4 E-Hybrid: This is the best-value hybrid choice because it combines plug-in efficiency with all-wheel drive. If you want the broadest everyday appeal among the electrified models, this is the one to focus on.
• Panamera 4S E-Hybrid: This is the stronger plug-in hybrid if you want more performance than the standard E-Hybrid while keeping the same basic efficiency benefits. It suits buyers who want a faster hybrid without moving to the most expensive versions.
• Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid: This is the most powerful Panamera overall, so it’s the pick if you want maximum output and don’t mind paying for it. It’s for buyers who want the most advanced and most expensive version of the lineup.

The safety package is standard only for lane-keep assist, parking sensors, and traffic sign recognition, while blind-spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control remain optional.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Porsche Panamera?

This is a moderate market, so you should be selective and ready to move when you find the right car.

• Deal availability: 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 178 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.54% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 80.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $60,924, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Porsche Panamera's resale value?

The current average of $63,768 sits slightly below last year's $65,431.

That tells you the market has eased a bit, which can help you as a buyer now but may also mean future resale gains are more limited if prices stay soft. For a seller, the current trend suggests you should expect a competitive market rather than a rising one.

The Panamera’s broad appeal and strong performance credentials help support demand, especially among shoppers who want a luxury sedan with a more distinctive driving character. Well-kept examples with desirable equipment should remain easier to move than ordinary luxury sedans.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Porsche Panamera safe?

It earns no published crash test ratings from IIHS or NHTSA for this model year.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features include lane-keep assist, parking sensors, and traffic sign recognition, while blind-spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control cost extra. Porsche’s InnoDrive system adds more automation through navigation integration, but it is still not standard.

The main caveat is that you do not get published crash-test results to lean on, so you should pay close attention to the car’s equipment list and condition when shopping used.

Should I buy a 2021 Porsche Panamera or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.54% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2021 model gets powertrain and suspension upgrades, new tires, a reshuffled lineup, and subtle styling changes.

The bottom line: If you want the most updated version of this generation with strong performance, broad configuration choices, and a more polished setup, the 2021 is the one to target. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may save you money, but you should expect to give up some of the 2021 updates and shop more carefully for the right equipment.
