How much does the 2021 GMC Acadia cost?

There are 1,987 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2021 GMC Acadia a good car?

Yes — the 2021 GMC Acadia earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers commonly praise its comfortable interior, spaciousness, and the strong V-6 engine, and many also like the roomier third row compared with smaller models. For you, that makes it a practical fit if you want a family-oriented crossover with a manageable footprint and useful everyday versatility. With 34.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is also meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2021 GMC Acadia reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Acadia is also described as fairly reliable, and owner feedback reinforces that impression with comments about comfort and day-to-day dependability. That said, you should still expect normal used-SUV ownership risk, so a careful inspection and clean service history matter if you want to reduce surprises over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 GMC Acadia?

At 74.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can screen for accidents, title issues, and inconsistent mileage. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus your condition check on the interior, suspension feel, and any features that may not work as expected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 GMC Acadia?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without waiting forever.

• Deal availability: 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,987 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.14% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 74.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,041, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 GMC Acadia's resale value?

The current average of $22,041 sits slightly below last year's $24,804.

That price movement suggests the Acadia has softened enough to help you buy more selectively today, but it also means future resale gains may be more gradual if market conditions stay similar. If you plan to sell later, buying at the lower end of the range can help protect your position. Strong demand for well-kept examples should still support value better than average.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 GMC Acadia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 74.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.14% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $19,760, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $22,041 average.
• It adds bolder styling and a more distinctive personality.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2021 if you want the stronger overall market position, better owner satisfaction, and modern connectivity in a family-friendly package. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2020 is the better value play, especially if you can live with its more basic feel.
