Used 2021 Chevrolet Corvette for Sale nearLexington, KY

How much does the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette cost?

Prices have softened 5.64% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,258 listings available, which gives you a meaningful pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette earns a 4.9/5 user rating and a 7.8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise the car’s powerful performance, stunning looks, and strong value for money. They also describe it as the best version yet, with the kind of appeal that makes it feel special even against much pricier supercars.

The trade-offs are clear: the cabin could be more user-friendly, and some owners feel it moves away from the traditional Corvette identity. In use, it’s best for you if you want style, performance, and a sense of occasion more than maximum practicality.

The market also looks supportive, with 33.6% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable in the ways that matter most to enthusiasts: strong performance, lasting appeal, and a sense that it delivers what buyers expect over time. The expert evaluation also emphasizes that the car is easy to use day to day, with intuitive controls and a satisfying user experience.

The cost-effectiveness coverage notes that the first scheduled maintenance visit is included, which helps soften early ownership costs.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about basic dependability and more about whether the car has been driven and maintained carefully enough to preserve its high-performance character.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Chevrolet Corvette?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper paper trail. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on bodywork, electronics, and signs of hard use. Pay close attention to condition details that matter on a sports car, especially if the car has been driven aggressively or modified.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 2LT and 3LT add visibility enhancements that are not on the 1LT, including a front-facing camera, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. If you want the most useful everyday features, those trims are the ones to target.
• Powertrain: The car uses a 6.2-liter V8 with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The available Z51 package adds performance-tuned adaptive dampers, performance brakes, a performance rear-axle ratio, an electronic limited-slip rear differential, a heavy-duty cooling system, and high-performance run-flat tires.
• Safety package: Teen Driver is standard, and Chevrolet Connected Services can add automatic collision notification and emergency calling with a subscription. The 2LT and 3LT also get a front-facing camera, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
• Infotainment: Every Corvette includes an 8-inch touchscreen, and the car adds a configurable 12-inch digital display. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and 2LT adds a head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: The Corvette is described as a bargain for its performance, but the source does not provide MPG figures here.

Which 2021 Chevrolet Corvette trim should I buy?

The 2021 Chevrolet Corvette is offered in 3 trim levels: 1LT, 2LT, 3LT.

Here's the short version:

• 1LT: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Corvette experience at the lowest price. It makes the most sense if you care most about the car’s performance and style and can live without the extra visibility and convenience features.
• 2LT: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the head-up display and the useful visibility enhancements that improve everyday driving. If you want the sweet spot between price and equipment, this is the one to focus on.
• 3LT: Choose this if you want the most premium cabin experience and are willing to pay more for it. It builds on the 2LT’s equipment and is the right pick if you want the most fully featured version.

The 2LT and 3LT are the trims that include the extra visibility features, while the 1LT does not.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Chevrolet Corvette?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,258 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.64% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $63,661, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette's resale value?

The current average of $63,661 sits slightly below last year's $67,463.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at a strong price, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger hit later. The Corvette’s strong desirability still helps support demand, but the recent price softening means future sellers should expect a more competitive resale environment than a year ago.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette safe?

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Chevrolet includes Teen Driver technology, which can monitor paired-key driving behavior and generate a report card for parents or guardians. Chevrolet Connected Services can also provide automatic collision notification and emergency calling with a subscription.

The Corvette’s more useful visibility aids are not standard across the lineup. The front-facing camera, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert are restricted to the 2LT and 3LT trims, so you should pay close attention to trim level if safety tech matters to you.

The bigger caveat is that modern advanced driver-assistance systems are largely absent, so you should not expect the kind of active safety suite found in many newer mainstream vehicles.

Should I buy a 2021 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.64% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines strong performance, easy-to-use technology, and excellent value for money.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $62,471, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $63,661 average.
• It introduced the mid-engine layout and brought supercar-level performance to the Corvette nameplate.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $67,091, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $63,661 average.
• It adds minor updates, new colors, and keeps the same trim structure with available Z51 upgrades.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of price, performance, and market availability, the 2021 is the smart default. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2020 can save you money while delivering much of the same core experience.
