How much does the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

Prices have softened 5.65% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,083 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing options.

Is the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado earns a 4.6/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers commonly praise its value, performance, and features, and many also like the ride quality and decent gas mileage. For you, that makes it a practical choice if you want a midsize pickup with real capability and everyday usefulness. With 34.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Reviewers describe it as a truck they can count on for value, performance, and features, and the feedback also points to a generally dependable ownership experience. The strongest praise centers on how well it balances utility with everyday drivability, especially in better-equipped versions. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure you avoid trucks with a history of transmission complaints or other wear-related issues.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Chevrolet Colorado?

At 74.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and service history before you commit. A pre-purchase inspection should be a priority, especially if the truck has higher mileage or signs of rough shifting. Focus on overall condition, drivetrain behavior, and evidence of consistent maintenance, since those details matter more than cosmetic appeal on a used pickup.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Chevrolet Colorado?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,083 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.65% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 74.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,015, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $25,015 sits slightly below last year's $26,512.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, condition and maintenance history will matter a lot, especially because buyers tend to reward clean, well-kept trucks. A Colorado that presents well and has strong documentation should hold its appeal better than one with visible wear or unresolved issues.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 74.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.65% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2021 is a sensible choice if you want a Colorado with strong owner approval and a softer used-market price than last year. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years to see whether a lower entry price or cleaner history gives you a better overall value.
