Is the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — the 4.58/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its value, performance, and features, and the Colorado’s appeal is especially strong if you want a midsize pickup that balances capability with everyday usability. The overview also highlights its usefulness as a solid companion with more performance and brawn than the base versions, which fits shoppers who want a truck that can handle work and daily driving without feeling oversized. The ownership experience also gets support from comments about good ride quality and decent gas mileage, which can make it easier to live with over time. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure you avoid a truck with hidden wear or prior issues that could turn a good deal into an expensive one.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Chevrolet Colorado?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 75.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report to confirm accident status, title history, and service records before you get too far into negotiations. Put inspection priority on the truck’s overall condition, especially signs of hard use, since this model is often bought for capability and may have seen demanding driving. Focus on how the truck feels on the road and whether the cabin, ride, and controls match the condition you expect from the asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Chevrolet Colorado?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,059 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.78% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 75.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,072, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $25,072 sits slightly below last year's $27,187.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also mean future resale gains are limited unless the truck is especially well kept. If you plan to sell later, condition and trim choice will matter a lot, because buyers tend to pay more for trucks that present well and feel well maintained. Strong demand for a clean, desirable example should help support value, but the recent price softening means you should not expect a rising market to do the work for you.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.58/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 75.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.78% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.58/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2021 is a smart choice if you want a well-liked Colorado with a favorable price trend and enough inventory to shop carefully. If your priority is stretching your budget, you may want to compare nearby years for the best combination of price and condition, but the 2021 stands out as a balanced pick when you want value, capability, and strong owner approval in one package.
