Used 2021 Chevrolet Blazer for Sale nearBoston, MA

How much does the 2021 Chevrolet Blazer cost?

Prices have softened 10.48% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,194 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2021 Chevrolet Blazer a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Chevrolet Blazer earns a 4.88/5 user rating and a 6.5/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 8/10.

Drivers consistently praise its sporty look, responsive power, and driving enjoyment, and many also call out the features that make it easy to live with. The Blazer’s style-driven personality and approachable tech fit buyers who want a crossover that feels more engaging than practical. On the downside, the interior materials feel cheap, the transmission is irritating, and it is considered poor value for money. That trade-off matters most if you want maximum utility rather than a design-first SUV. Good and great deals account for 32.6% of listings, so you can still find some market value if you shop carefully.

Is the 2021 Chevrolet Blazer reliable?

Owners rate it 4.88/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with drivers often describing the Blazer as a vehicle they enjoy living with over time. The expert evaluation also emphasizes that the Blazer’s driving character is cohesive and confidence-inspiring, which supports the sense that it can be a trouble-free daily companion when maintained properly. The available maintenance perk language is not present here. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is paying premium money for a vehicle whose value proposition is already strained by its interior and transmission shortcomings.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Chevrolet Blazer?

At 72.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on body condition, panel alignment, tire wear, and signs of prior repair work, since accident history can affect both value and long-term ownership confidence. If possible, compare several examples side by side so you can separate cosmetic appeal from actual condition.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trims are the ones most likely to feel stripped down, especially where the cabin materials and feature content are concerned. Higher trims add more visual polish and equipment, so you should pay close attention to whether the listing includes the features you expect for the money.
• Powertrain: The lineup includes a 2.5-liter inline-four, a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder, and a 3.6-liter V6, all paired with a nine-speed automatic. The base engine is the weakest choice, while the V6 is the strongest and most engaging option.
• Safety package: Driver assists include forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-keep assist, and automatic high beams on most trims except the L and 1LT. The enhanced forward emergency braking is reserved for top trims with the Driver Confidence II package.
• Infotainment: Every Blazer gets an 8-inch touchscreen with Chevrolet Infotainment 3, wireless Apple CarPlay, and wireless Android Auto. The Plus version adds navigation with traffic, 4G WiFi, onboard apps, better voice recognition, and two-phone pairing.
• Fuel efficiency: The AWD V6 returns 19 mpg city, 26 mpg highway, and 21 mpg combined. The AWD turbo four-cylinder is rated at 22/27/24, which is better than the base engine’s setup.

Which 2021 Chevrolet Blazer trim should I buy?

The 2021 Chevrolet Blazer is offered in 5 trim levels: L, 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, RS.

Here's the short version:

• L: This is the entry point, but it is the least appealing choice if you care about features, capability, or overall value. It makes sense only if your budget is extremely tight and you are willing to accept the most basic version of the Blazer.
• 1LT: This trim still sits near the bottom of the range, so you should expect a modest equipment set. It is worth considering only if you find a strong price and do not mind giving up the richer content found higher up.
• 2LT: This is the best-value starting point because it moves you away from the weakest base setup and into the more acceptable 2.0-liter turbo powertrain. It is the trim most buyers should target first.
• 3LT: This trim builds on the 2LT with more equipment and a more upscale feel, making it a sensible step up if you want extra comfort without jumping all the way to the sportier models.
• RS: This is the enthusiast pick, with the 3.6-liter V6 and sport-tuned hardware that best match the Blazer’s style-first personality. Choose it if you care most about performance and handling.

For safety equipment, note that the more advanced driver-assistance features are not standard on the L and 1LT, and the enhanced forward emergency braking is limited to top trims with the Driver Confidence II package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Chevrolet Blazer?

This is a moderate, selective-buyer market, so you have room to shop but still need to move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,194 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.48% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 72.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,964, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Chevrolet Blazer's resale value?

The current average of $20,964 sits slightly below last year's $23,419.

That decline suggests the Blazer has become more affordable for buyers, but it also means sellers may need to price more competitively to stand out. If you own one, the current market is still workable, especially if your vehicle has clean history and desirable equipment. Well-kept examples with stronger trims and better features should hold up better than base models because they align more closely with what shoppers want.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.88/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Chevrolet Blazer safe?

The 2021 Chevrolet Blazer earns five-star ratings from NHTSA overall and in all three crash tests, with four-star ratings for the front passenger in the frontal crash and for rollover.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard driver-assistance suite includes forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-keep assist, and automatic high beams on most trims except the L and 1LT. The enhanced forward emergency braking system adds radar to the camera-based setup and is available only on top trims with the Driver Confidence II package. IIHS gave the Blazer top Good ratings in all crash tests, but the headlights received Marginal and Poor ratings, which is the main safety caveat to keep in mind.

Should I buy a 2021 Chevrolet Blazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 72.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.48% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.88/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It emphasizes style, handling, and easy-to-use technology more than practicality.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $23,711, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $20,964 average.
• It adds more practical cargo utility and remains best used on pavement.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2021 is the smarter buy because prices have eased and the market still offers a decent number of listings. If you can spend more and want the newer model-year alternative, the 2022 is the secondary path, but it asks for a higher budget without changing the Blazer’s core personality.
