Used 2021 Buick Enclave for Sale nearEl Paso, TX

How much does the 2021 Buick Enclave cost?

Prices have softened 13.67% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,210 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of inventory to compare.

Is the 2021 Buick Enclave a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Buick Enclave earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

The Enclave is positioned as Buick’s biggest crossover SUV, and it is especially appealing in its top trim level. It is described as roomy, quiet, powerful, and athletic, which fits well if you want a three-row family SUV with a more upscale presence.

The trade-offs are clear: the interior materials feel cheap, and the technology is outdated. Value for the money is also a weak point, so you should weigh the comfort and space against the price you pay.

Only 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is selective rather than broadly discounted.

Is the 2021 Buick Enclave reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Enclave’s 3.6-liter V6, nine-speed automatic, and available front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive give it a straightforward mechanical setup. It is described as strong off the line, with the transmission working smoothly and the SUV driving smaller than its size suggests.

Buick also emphasizes comfort and ride quality, especially with the premium-tuned suspension available on higher equipment. The fuel economy figure of 21 mpg in combined driving suggests reasonable efficiency for a large three-row SUV.

If you buy used, the main long-term ownership risk is that the Enclave’s premium feel can be undermined by its cost and feature restrictions, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Buick Enclave?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 75.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on higher-mileage examples. Focus on overall condition, because the Enclave’s value proposition depends heavily on whether the vehicle has been well cared for and equipped the way you want.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Enclave is offered in Preferred, Essence, Premium, and Avenir trims. The Avenir adds a unique grille pattern, extra brightwork, unique 20-inch polished wheels, and a more upscale interior treatment, while the base trim misses some equipment that appears higher up the range.
• Powertrain: Every version uses a 3.6-liter V6 with a nine-speed automatic transmission and a choice of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The engine makes 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque, and the SUV is described as strong and easy to drive.
• Safety package: The Driver Confidence Plus Package includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, low-speed automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, automatic high-beam headlights, front and rear parking sensors, and a Safety Alert Seat. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert require an upgrade from Preferred to Essence, and adaptive cruise control with highway-speed automatic emergency braking is reserved for Avenir with the optional Avenir Technology Package.
• Infotainment: The biggest screen available is 8 inches. Every Enclave comes with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM 360L, a 4G LTE WiFi hotspot, USB charging ports in all three rows, and Teen Driver. Available upgrades include navigation, wireless smartphone charging, a premium sound system, and a surround-view camera system.
• Fuel efficiency: The Enclave is rated at 21 mpg in combined driving, and the test loop returned 21.2 mpg.

Which 2021 Buick Enclave trim should I buy?

The 2021 Buick Enclave is offered in 4 trim levels: Preferred, Essence, Premium, and Avenir.

Here's the short version:

• Preferred: This is the entry point, so it makes sense if you want the Enclave’s space and comfort at the lowest starting point, but you should expect fewer safety features than higher trims.
• Essence: This is the best-value trim if you want a more complete daily-driver setup, because it adds blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert over Preferred.
• Premium: This trim is the better choice if you want the Driver Confidence Plus Package standard, including forward-collision warning, lane-keeping assist, parking sensors, and the Safety Alert Seat.
• Avenir: This is the top trim and the one the review highlights most strongly. It adds the most upscale styling and interior treatment, and it is the only trim that can get adaptive cruise control with highway-speed automatic emergency braking through the optional Avenir Technology Package.

The safety-package availability is uneven across trims, so you should compare equipment carefully before you buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Buick Enclave?

The market looks moderate for selective buyers who are willing to compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,210 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.67% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 75.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,583, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Buick Enclave's resale value?

The current average of $22,583 sits slightly below last year's $26,160.

That price drop suggests the Enclave has already moved into a more buyer-friendly part of its depreciation curve. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned than someone who paid closer to last year’s average.

The model’s appeal as a roomy, upscale three-row SUV should help support demand among shoppers who want comfort and space. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Buick Enclave safe?

The 2021 Buick Enclave earns five-star ratings from NHTSA, though frontal-impact protection rates four-star due to a four-star front passenger rating. The IIHS applies high marks across the board, but a Marginal headlight performance rating prevents the SUV from earning a Top Safety Pick accolade.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Buick’s Driver Confidence Plus Package brings forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, low-speed automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, automatic high-beam headlights, front and rear parking sensors, and a Safety Alert Seat. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are not standard on the base trim, and adaptive cruise control with highway-speed automatic emergency braking is limited to Avenir with the optional Avenir Technology Package.

The headlight rating is the main caveat here, and the limited availability of advanced driver-assistance features makes the Enclave less competitive than some rivals.

Should I buy a 2021 Buick Enclave or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 75.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It stands out as Buick’s biggest crossover SUV, especially in its top trim level.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $26,135, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $22,583 average.
• It adds a freshened design and standard driver-assistance technology.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2021 is the smarter starting point because prices are lower and inventory is available. If you want the newer update with more standard safety tech and can spend more, the 2022 is the cleaner upgrade path.
