Used 2021 Buick Enclave for Sale nearAtlantic City, NJ

How much does the 2021 Buick Enclave cost?

Prices have softened 13.47% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,201 listings available, which suggests you should have a workable selection to compare.

Is the 2021 Buick Enclave a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Buick Enclave earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

The Enclave stands out as Buick’s biggest crossover SUV, and it is especially appealing in its top trim level. It has a stylish, upscale presence, and it is described as roomy, quiet, powerful, and athletic. Those strengths make it easy to like, and they help the Enclave represent Buick’s traditional character well.

The trade-offs are clear: its technology is considered outdated, and its value for the money is a weak point. The interior materials also feel cheap, which keeps it from matching its upscale ambitions.

For you, that means the Enclave makes the most sense if you want a comfortable, spacious three-row SUV with a premium feel and can live with some feature and value compromises. The market shows 31.8% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Buick Enclave reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Enclave is described as roomy, quiet, powerful, and athletic, and its V6 and nine-speed automatic combination is presented as smooth and confident in everyday driving. The expert review also notes that the transmission never gets a shift wrong, and the ride quality is praised for handling a wide range of road conditions with ease.

On the cost side, the review says Buick’s incentives can improve the value proposition, but without them the Enclave is overpriced. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is less about mechanical drama and more about whether you’re paying a fair price for the equipment you want.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Buick Enclave?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 75.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the condition of the cabin, electronics, and safety equipment. Since the Enclave’s value depends heavily on trim and options, make sure the vehicle you’re considering has the features you expect.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim leaves out some desirable safety equipment, while higher trims add more upscale presence and better feature content. The top trim stands out for its unique grille, brightwork, and polished 20-inch wheels.
• Powertrain: Every version uses a 3.6-liter V6 with a nine-speed automatic transmission and either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The engine makes 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque, and the SUV can tow up to 5,000 pounds when properly equipped.
• Safety package: The Driver Confidence Plus Package adds forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, low-speed automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, automatic high-beam headlights, front and rear parking sensors, and a Safety Alert Seat. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert require an upgrade from Preferred to Essence, and adaptive cruise control with enhanced automatic emergency braking is reserved for the top trim with an optional package.
• Infotainment: Every Enclave includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM 360L, a 4G LTE WiFi hotspot, and USB charging ports in all three rows. The largest touchscreen is 8 inches, and wireless smartphone charging, navigation, a premium sound system, and a surround-view camera system are available.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA rates the Enclave at 21 mpg in combined driving, and the review’s test loop returned 21.2 mpg.

Which 2021 Buick Enclave trim should I buy?

The 2021 Buick Enclave is offered in 4 trim levels: Preferred, Essence, Premium, and Avenir.

Here's the short version:

• Preferred: This is the entry point, but it leaves some important safety features for higher trims. It makes sense if you want the Enclave’s core space and comfort at the lowest starting point.
• Essence: This trim adds blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, making it a smarter choice if you want a better safety feature set without going all the way up the range.
• Premium: This is the best-value trim if you want the strongest balance of equipment and safety, because it includes the Driver Confidence Plus Package as standard.
• Avenir: This is the most upscale choice, with the most premium look and feel, and it is the trim to target if you want the Enclave at its most luxurious. The optional Avenir Technology Package adds adaptive cruise control with enhanced automatic emergency braking.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Buick Enclave?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully and still find opportunities.

• Deal availability: 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,201 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.47% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 75.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,730, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Buick Enclave's resale value?

The current average of $22,730 sits slightly below last year's $26,268.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. The strongest resale prospects will usually come from well-kept examples with desirable equipment and clean history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Buick Enclave safe?

The 2021 Buick Enclave earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA, though frontal-impact protection rates four stars due to a four-star front passenger rating. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gives it high marks across the board, but a Marginal headlight performance rating keeps it from earning a Top Safety Pick accolade.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Buick’s Driver Confidence Plus Package includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, low-speed automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, automatic high-beam headlights, front and rear parking sensors, and a Safety Alert Seat. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are not standard on the base trim, and adaptive cruise control with enhanced automatic emergency braking requires the top trim plus an optional package.

The main caution for used buyers is that safety equipment is unevenly distributed across trims, so you should verify exactly which driver-assistance features are installed on the vehicle you’re considering.

Should I buy a 2021 Buick Enclave or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 75.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.47% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2021 stands out for its roomy, quiet, powerful, and athletic character.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $26,251, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $22,730 average.
• It adds standard driver-assistance and safety technology.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2021 is the stronger buy because prices are lower and inventory is available. If you want newer standard safety tech and are willing to pay more, the 2022 is the cleaner upgrade.
