Used 2021 BMW 7 Series for Sale nearBloomington, IL

How much does the 2021 BMW 7 Series cost?

Prices have softened 10.16% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 556 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2021 BMW 7 Series a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the 2021 BMW 7 Series backs that up with a mix of strong performance, advanced technology, and a deeply upscale cabin. Its broad powertrain lineup gives you flexibility if you want comfort, efficiency, or more outright power, while features like the digital cluster, curved infotainment display, head-up display, and rear-seat comfort equipment make it feel like a true flagship.

For shoppers who want a large luxury sedan with a sporty edge and a long feature list, it fits that brief well. 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2021 BMW 7 Series reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2021 BMW 7 Series is built around a sophisticated mix of powertrains and technology, and that kind of complexity can reward you with a lot of capability if everything has been maintained properly. Its flagship positioning also means repairs and upkeep can be more demanding than on simpler sedans, so condition and service history matter a lot.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is owning a large, highly equipped luxury car without clear maintenance records.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 BMW 7 Series?

At 73.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially on electronics, suspension behavior, and any signs that the car has been heavily optioned or poorly maintained. Focus on overall condition and documentation, because a luxury flagship like this can be expensive to sort out if prior issues were overlooked.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 BMW 7 Series?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully and enough deal activity to reward patience.

• Deal availability: 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 556 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.16% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 73.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $37,336, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 BMW 7 Series's resale value?

The current average of $37,440 sits slightly below last year's $41,672.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value will depend heavily on how well the car is maintained and how clean its history is when you decide to move on. Well-kept examples should still appeal to shoppers looking for a flagship luxury sedan with strong equipment and a premium feel.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 BMW 7 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 73.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.16% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2021 if you want the strongest mix of current pricing, broad inventory, and high owner satisfaction in this range. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a lower entry price outweighs the 2021's combination of market softness and feature-rich appeal.
